Book EX THE C

Download or read book EX THE C written by Hadassah Ru and published by Hadassah Ru LLC. This book was released on 2022-04-15 with total page 234 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: TALES OF ONE WOMAN'S JOURNEY WITH GOD THROUGH SPIRITUAL WARFARE at a relatively young age, Hadassah Ru began a quest to discover if God was indeed real. She started out attempting to read the Bible and visiting local churches. However, Hadassah felt like such an outsider. She didn't quite fit in, nor was she welcomed at some. Hadassah found it equally difficult to find other inquisitive seekers with whom she could journey together to uncover the truth. For this reason, Hadassah stopped seeking God. The enemy took this as an opportunity to capitalize by sending a counterfeit person into her life which led to a "series of unfortunate events" resulting in a domino effect that upended her life. Even though Hadassah Ru concluded her quest for answers about Him, God hadn't given up on her. In fact, He waged war for Hadassah's life. She's certain she's not the only person who has lost themselves in peculiar circumstances involving treacherous people. She had more questions, fewer inadequate answers and even less common ground with the church. Because of this, Hadassah Ru believes the Lord led her to write a series of memoirs recounting major life altering incidents she's endured. This book is not a coming of age story. This is a "put your boxing gloves on, take your blinders off and war for your life" type of book. It is a succession of true life and at times unfathomable situations that set Hadassah on a course headed straight for hell based on the adverse sinful decisions she'd made. The Lord has encouraged her to share her testimonies with the hopes of being a light that directs the lost to the only one who can save them from their sins.

Book The Collected Works of Edward Schillebeeckx Volume 7

Download or read book The Collected Works of Edward Schillebeeckx Volume 7 written by Edward Schillebeeckx and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2014-09-25 with total page 1039 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christ. The Christian Experience in the Modern World focuses on the question of salvation for all people. Using seven 'anthropological constants', Schillebeeckx innovatively shows the social and political relevance of faith. Inspired by liberation and feminist theologies, he puts strong emphasis on human experience and on the importance of examining church teaching in its historical context. This volume is a testimony of Schillebeeckx' ground breaking attempt to rethink doctrine in the light of the research on the historical Jesus. Instead of starting with Christianity's great creedal statements about Christ and the Trinity, he focuses on the subjective experience of the first generations of believers as expressed in the New Testament. This choice stirred considerable controversy and a Vatican investigation but inspired and still keeps to inspire readers in their personal approach to Christian faith.

Book The Salem Witchcraft the Planchette Mystery and Modern Spiritualism

Download or read book The Salem Witchcraft the Planchette Mystery and Modern Spiritualism written by Harriet Beecher Stowe and published by DigiCat. This book was released on 2022-06-02 with total page 181 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Salem Witchcraft, the Planchette Mystery, and Modern Spiritualism" by Harriet Beecher Stowe is psychoanalysis. The object of reprinting this most interesting review is simply to show the progress made in moral, intellectual, and physical science. The reader will go back with us to a time—not very remote—when nothing was known of Phrenology and Psychology; when men and women were persecuted, and even put to death, through the baldest ignorance and the most pitiable superstition. If we were to go back still farther, to the Holy Wars, we should find cities and nations drenched in human blood through religious bigotry and intolerance. Let us thank God that our lot is cast in a more fortunate age, when the light of revelation, rightly interpreted by the aid of Science, points to the Source of all knowledge, all truth, all light. When we know more about Anatomy, Physiology, Physiognomy, and the Natural Sciences generally, there will be a spirit of broader liberality, religious tolerance, and individual freedom. Then all men will hold themselves accountable to God, rather than to popes, priests, or parsons. Our progenitors lived in a time that tried men's souls, as the following lucid review most painfully shows.
