Book Jesus and the Geography of Spiritual Warfare

Download or read book Jesus and the Geography of Spiritual Warfare written by Chuck Huckaby and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-03-29 with total page 64 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is everything you "know" about the Bible Wrong? To be honest, probably not! But like most people, it's easy to overlook the names of places in Bible lands like "Bashan", "Caesarea Philippi" or "Mount Hermon". It's especially easy to overlook key words in the original text like "Rephaim" and "Elohim" because our English translations often don't bother to translate them in a way that preserves their full meaning. (In reality, it's probably impossible to translate many of these terms in ways that capture the entire range of meaning of these terms.) And there's something else at work that may keep us from understanding the Bible on the Bible's terms... many times we do not understand that the Old Testament saints and early Christians themselves had a "supernatural view of the Bible" we don't. They considered the events of Genesis 6:1-4 in a way very differently than modern Christians, especially "Christian Commentators". When this passage is understood. in a supernatural light, it helps make sense of the Bible in a way "picking and choosing" interpretations simply don't. Add all these problems up, and we can miss much of the meaning of the Bible. It's understandable. Our attitude is "let's just get on with the action and the words!" But the words and actions of Jesus CAN take on a significantly bold and powerful meaning when we finally understand the geographical background and related spiritual history of key places and concepts. This is especially true in regard to the topic of Jesus and Spiritual Warfare! Once we see where Jesus asks his disciples key questions... and where key events transpire... and understand the deep spiritual history of those places, suddenly Jesus becomes more precious than ever and the mission of the church becomes more clear than ever before! Check it out for yourself! You're guaranteed to be amazed!

This book teaches the modern and advanced spiritual warfare strategies of Spiritual Geography, Spiritual Mapping, Prophetic Prayers, Prophetic Action, etc. However the author recognizes that it is the believer that is largely delivered that can deliver people and places while applying these principles. This book therefore offers deliverance to the would-be deliverer; showing how to identify and deal with family and environmental curses, etc. This book has been selected as a Bible School textbook and is blessing people in different nations in five continents of the world. Book Understanding Spiritual Warfare

Download or read book Understanding Spiritual Warfare written by Sam Storms and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2021-04-27 with total page 378 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A comprehensive, theological guide to everything the Bible has to say about spiritual warfare. Many Christians today are unaware or skeptical of the reality of Satan and the role he and his demonic hordes seek to exert on our lives. But if we're to take Scripture seriously, we can't overlook the biblical assertions about the spiritual battles between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of the devil. The truth is that believers in Jesus are certain to encounter men and women of all ages who are oppressed, tormented, and tempted by demonic powers. In Understanding Spiritual Warfare, theologian and professor Sam Storms confronts the reality of the spiritual conflict in our midst, the threat of the demonic, and how we, as Christians, can respond to such a threat in our own lives and in the lives of others. Storms explains the biblical teaching on spiritual warfare and shares numerous personal accounts of victories over the demonic, answering question like: Who is Satan and his demons, and how do they act? Can a Christian be demonized? How does the authority of Christ defeat the devil and the demonic? What is “warfare prayer” and how can we wield it? Perfect for any individual or group who wants to grow in their understanding of spiritual warfare, Understanding Spiritual Warfare also serves as a training manual for a ministry of deliverance and inner healing.

As we keep our eyes fixed on him, we will find a place of glorious freedom and confident authority. Chevreau unmasks the enemy's schemes to divert our attention from our loving and powerful Savior and explains that spiritual authority over demonic forces is proportionate to our intimacy with God. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Battle Is Ours! “Our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world” (Eph. 6:12 NIV). For generations when Christians have engaged in spiritual warfare, most of the time they have focused on “satan” as the main opponent. However, C. Peter Wagner has gathered together a number of ministers who teach from personal experience that the “principalities and powers” are more than just satan—there is an entire hierarchy of demons in this world. Often, missionaries and ministers are finding that they have far more success in an area when they first go to war in the spirit and in prayer against the evil power that rules a certain region. C. Peter Wagner has compiled this book of many voices, speaking from Scripture and personal experience, teaching the reality of territorial spirits and the necessity of waging targeted, powerful warfare against them in order to reach the souls these evil powers have held captive for too long. You will learn:· There is an entire hierarchy of demons in this world, many with specific geographic territories.· Once a territorial spirit’s power is broken, ministry in that area can be far more effective.· How to go to war against evil spirits to break their power over the people of a region. Christians must take to heart what the Bible teaches about spiritual warfare.Arm yourself with this book!
