No programming experience is necessary, but familiarity with doing common tasks using a computer operating system (simple editing, file maintenance, understanding directory structures, working on the Internet) is expected. JAVA FOR KIDS requires Windows XP-SP2, Vista or Windows 7. You will also need JCreator 5.0 SE and Version 7 of the Java Development Kit.
