Es ist notwendig, die Höhe der Oberkante der Mole auf + 7,10 m über Seekartennull fest zulegen, um ein Überschlagen von 4 m hohen Wellen aus Südsüdwest zu verhindern. 2. Bei Wind und See aus Südsüdwest war im Modell bis zu einer Wellenhöhe von 4 m an der dem Lande zugekehrten Seite der Mole und in dem Raume zwischen der Mole und der lO-m Tiefenlinie eine gute, als durchaus ausreichend zu bezeichnende Dämpfung der Wellen festzu stellen. Die von den Wellen erzeugten Trossenkräfte an den an der Innenseite der Mole fest machenden Schiffen werden beträchtlich unter den zulässigen Werten bleiben, für die Poller und Trossen üblicherweise bemessen werden. 3. Bei Wind und See aus Westnordwest bietet die Mole keinen unmittelbaren Schutz für die an ihr liegenden Schiffe. Da die Wellen aus Westnordwest nicht höher als 2 m werden, können die Trossenkräfte von Pollern und Haltevorrichtungen aufgenommen werden. 4. Die geplante Kreiszellenbauweise der Mole ist nach hydraulischen Gesichtspunkten un bedenklich. Eine Dämpfung der Wellen auch bei Wind und See aus Westnordwest könnte im Bereiche der Mole nur dadurch erreicht werden, daß die Mole stärker abgeknickt wird. Damit aber größere Schiffe zwischen der Mole und der 10-m-Tiefenlinie noch unbehindert manövrieren können, müßte der Zufahrtsteil verlängert und die ganze Mole seewärts verschoben werden. Mit Rücksicht auf die Zufahrtsgleise zur Mole und die zulässigen Krümmungshalbmesser sind der Abknickung Grenzen gesetzt.
