I started posting those new places for them to go out and hunt. Then I started to get even more request on a daily basis. A lot of the new requests were coming in as a private message asking me if I “would not post the info I had found publicly”. We Treasure Hunters DO NOT like to share information about a great location; hmmmm seems when we do share a location, everyone shows up with a Metal Detector looking for buried Treasure. After getting more request then I could get to on a daily bases, someone had asked me if I had an eBook or any kind of Instructable guide, which could show them how to Research and Locate Old and Forgotten Places. As for specifics, you will learn the right way to street detect as well as the perils of doing it wrong. I pull no punches here, but deal in plain logic and facts. It is a different world street detecting and there are some risks. But with any worthwhile undertaking, increased risk is usually commensurate with greater rewards. This is 2021, folks. The world has changed but metal detecting has neither recognized, nor has it adapted to, the realities of the challenges facing the hobby today.
