Posteriormente, se estudia la conducta prosocial definiéndola y presentando algunas teorías que explican la misma, se describen los factores que influyen en su desarrollo y los resultados de varias investigaciones que ponen de relieve los beneficios de cooperar frente a competir en el desarrollo personal y social. En último lugar, se analiza el concepto de la creatividad. Tras una aproximación a su definición, se presentan diferentes teorías que explican el origen y el desarrollo de la misma, se clarifican cuestiones relacionadas con el producto, el proceso, la persona y el ambiente creativo, y se reflexiona sobre su intervención psicoeducativa, comentando los factores que la favorecen y los que la perturban, así como los resultados positivos de los estudios que han evaluado los efectos de programas de entrenamiento de esta importante dimensión del desarrollo humano. Este trabajo se complementa con cuatro publicaciones que contienen propuestas concretas de juego para diferentes niveles de edad —de 4 a 6, de 6 a 8, de 8 a 10, y de 10 a 12 años—. En cada propuesta se describe el programa de intervención para esa edad, sus objetivos, las fichas técnicas de los juegos, el procedimiento para desarrollarlo con un grupo, así como la metodología y los instrumentos para evaluar los efectos del programa en el desarrollo infantil.

In doing so, they generated considerable innovation, which reinforced the integration of the research and outreach functions of the university. The evidence suggests that universities are indeed open systems, in interaction with their environment, able to discover changes that can influence them and to change in response to those changes. They are also able, in the success of their efforts to mitigate the educational impact of the pandemic, to create better futures, as the result of the innovations they can generate. This challenges the view of universities as "ivory towers" being isolated from the surrounding environment and detached from local problems. As they reached out to schools, universities not only generated clear and valuable innovations to sustain educational opportunity and to improve it, this process also contributed to transform internal university processes in ways that enhanced their own ability to deliver on the third mission of outreach
