The farmers are affected due to various factors like shortage of rainfall, problems of diseases in the crop, seed failure, and heavy rainfall at the time of harvesting, fluctuation in the price of the agricultural produces. The farmers are affected irrespective of the nature of the crops either cash crops or food grains due to low income from their crops.
