Book Avionics Instrument Systems Specialist Career Ladder AFSCs 32531 32551 31571 and 32591

Download or read book Avionics Instrument Systems Specialist Career Ladder AFSCs 32531 32551 31571 and 32591 written by AIR FORCE OCCUPATIONAL MEASUREMENT CENTER LACKLAND AFB TEX. and published by . This book was released on 1975 with total page 52 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Avionics Instrument Systems career ladder (AFSC 325X1) provides flight line and shop maintenance on aircraft instrument systems, electromechanical instruments, components and test equipment. Duties involve inspecting, removing, installing, repairing, operating, troubleshooting, overhauling and modifying systems such as flight and engine instrument systems, flight data recorder systems, central air data computer (CADC) systems, flight director indicating systems, gyro/magnetic compasses, clocks, pressure, temperature, liquid and torque indicating systems, etc. A wide variety of instruments are maintained on all types of aircraft stationed world-wide. This results in the performance of a rather large number of tasks by personnel in DAFSC 325X1.

Book Integrated Avionic Systems Career Ladder AFSCs 32632A B C 32652A B C 32672A B C and 32692

Download or read book Integrated Avionic Systems Career Ladder AFSCs 32632A B C 32652A B C 32672A B C and 32692 written by Hynson H Marvel (Jr) and published by . This book was released on 1977 with total page 63 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the initial occupational survey of the Integrated Avionics career ladder. The career field subdivision (AFSCs 326XX) was created in 1968. It was designed primarily to support the F-111 series aircraft. The Integrated Avionics System Specialist/Technician (AFSCs 326X2A/B/C) was established in 1972. It was established to perform the flightline duties previously performed by avionic maintenance personnel on older aircraft with conventional avionic systems. Responsibility for the F-15A was added later and the F-16 will soon become the third weapon system requiring integrated avionics maintenance. The report describes: (1) development and administration of the survey instrument; (2) summaries of tasks performed by airmen grouped by skill level, experience level, and similarity of tasks performed; (3) comparisons with career field structure documents; and (4) conclusions and recommendations.

Book Development and Flight Test Experiences with a Flight Crucial Digital Control System

Download or read book Development and Flight Test Experiences with a Flight Crucial Digital Control System written by National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2018-07-17 with total page 116 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Engineers and scientists in the advanced fighter technology integration (AFTI) F-16 program investigated the integration of emerging technologies into an advanced fighter aircraft. AFTI's three major technologies included: flight-crucial digital control, decoupled aircraft flight control, and integration of avionics, flight control, and pilot displays. In addition to investigating improvements in fighter performance, researchers studied the generic problems confronting the designers of highly integrated flight-crucial digital control. An overview is provided of both the advantages and problems of integration digital control systems. Also, an examination of the specification, design, qualification, and flight test life-cycle phase is provided. An overview is given of the fault-tolerant design, multimoded decoupled flight control laws, and integrated avionics design. The approach to qualifying the software and system designs is discussed, and the effects of design choices on system qualification are highlighted. Mackall, Dale A.
