La méthodologie est d'abord présentée, puis la définition des concepts. Suivra l'état de la situation ici et dans le reste du Canada, aux États-Unis, en Europe et en Australie, afin de bien cerner les pratiques, les problématiques et les besoins qui y sont rattachés. Finalement, la situation et les caractéristiques des clientèles émergentes à l'enseignement supérieur seront abordées. Ce rapport vise également à dégager des constats et des besoins, qui reflètent ce que rapportent les études et les personnes consultées. Ceux-ci constitueront un point de départ pour une révision éventuelle des programmes et des documents de référence concernant l'accueil et l'intégration des étudiantes et étudiants en situation de handicap dans les collèges et les universités.
