Book Global Production and Consumption of Fast Food and Instant Concentrates

This book was released on 2022-01-07 with total page 253 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Globalization and industrialization have caused serious changes to the food and services markets, which have led to an increase in the consumption of fast food in the daily diet. Annually, the number of fast-food restaurants increases and volumes of the industrial production of fast-food products grow. The systematic consumption of fast food has many risks, such as developing alimentary diseases and serious chronic illnesses. This increasing consumption is a critical problem as younger generations are primary consumers of fast food. Global Production and Consumption of Fast Food and Instant Concentrates compares healthy and fast foods, considers an ecological-hygienic assessment of the impact of fast food on the body in observations of people and in experiments in vivo, and discusses key questions of the interrelation of food and health. Covering topics such as nutrition and food culture, it is ideal for food industry professionals, scientists, medical professionals, researchers, academicians, practitioners, instructors, and students.

Book Miracle Water for Acidity and Constipation

Download or read book Miracle Water for Acidity and Constipation written by Dan Phillips, PhD and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2023-11 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Acidity, often called acid reflux or heartburn, is a medical ailment where stomach acid is refluxed into the esophagus. A burning sensation in the mouth, throat, and chest may result from this incident. The main factor causing acidity is a weaker lower esophageal sphincter (LES), which is the ring of muscles that divides the esophagus and stomach. Stomach acid can reflux into the esophagus when the LES is damaged, irritating and uncomfortable. One major aspect contributing to acidity exacerbation is diet. Acid production can be triggered and the LES can be relaxed by foods heavy in fat, caffeine, alcohol, and spicy substances. A few other factors that contribute are smoking, obesity, and specific medical disorders. Prolonged stomach acidity can cause problems like ulcers, esophagitis, and even Barrett's esophagus, which is a precursor to cancer.
