Al terminar cada capítulo, se proponen varios ejercicios: algunos con asterisco, resueltos detalladamente; y de los restantes, se proporciona el resultado en una subsección final. Finalmente, en el Capítulo 5 se recopilan problemas de Bioestadística, con la idea de que el lector, con los conocimientos adquiridos tras el estudio del manual, sea capaz de darles solución. Además, la resolución detallada de todos estos últimos, se incluye posteriormente, con objeto de que sirvan de autocomprobación al interesado.
