Book La sant mentale des tudiants

Download or read book La sant mentale des tudiants written by Robin Courp (dentiste).) and published by . This book was released on 2022 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Influences of coping behaviors physical activity and sleep quality on medical students well being and performance during academic examination of competences anglais

This book was released on 2023 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Download or read book tude exploratrice chez les tudiants en premi re ann e l cole de sant des arm es written by Sarah Mirzaïe and published by . This book was released on 2018 with total page 294 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Simulation in Healthcare Education

Download or read book Simulation in Healthcare Education written by Harry Owen and published by Springer. This book was released on 2016-03-17 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Simulation in healthcare education has a long history, yet in many ways, we have been reinventing the wheel during the last 25 years. Historically, simulators have been much more than simple models, and we can still learn from aspects of simulation used hundreds of years ago. This book gives a narrative history of the development of simulators from the early 1700s to the middle of the 20th century when simulation in healthcare appeared to all but die out. It is organized around the development of simulation in different countries and includes at the end a guide to simulators in museums and private collections throughout the world. The aim is to increase understanding of simulation in the professional education of healthcare providers by exploring the historical context of simulators that were developed in the past, what they looked like, how they were used, and examples of simulator use that led to significant harm and an erosion of standards. The book is addressed to the healthcare simulation community and historians of medicine. The latter in particular will appreciate the identification and use of historic sources written in Latin, German, Italian, French, Polish and Spanish as well as English.

Book Matricellular Receptors as Potential Targets in Anti Cancer Therapeutic Strategies

Download or read book Matricellular Receptors as Potential Targets in Anti Cancer Therapeutic Strategies written by Hervé Emonard and published by Frontiers Media SA. This book was released on 2016-11-22 with total page 131 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The invasive character of a primary cancer is greatly dependent on numerous interactions between tumor cells and their extracellular surroundings. Matricellular receptors are defined as (cell-surface) receptors that bind extracellular matrix (ECM) structural proteins and soluble factors dynamically acting on ECM homeostasis. Matricellular receptors mediate numerous signalings from the extracellular environment to cell nucleus and drive main biological functions that are cell growth, survival and migration. Numerous data from the last decade evidence that matricellular receptors are biosensors that allow to a tumor cell answering to microenvironmental variations, and in this sense they are important contributors to tumor cell malignancy. Matricellular receptors represent thus valuable targets for the development of original anti-cancer strategies. Original reports, bibliographic reviews or hypotheses are welcome to improve the basic knowledge of matricellular receptor properties, their spatio-temporal regulation, the dynamic formation of complex receptors and the impact of such interactions on the invasive properties of tumor cells. Biological, biophysical and pharmacological, as well as in silico contributions will be appreciated.

Download or read book Medical Traditions written by Alain Touwaide and published by de Gruyter. This book was released on 2021-12-31 with total page 150 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Medical traditions encapsulate the knowledge of life, health, nutrition, diseases and their treatment patiently assembled by populations over a long period of time in the past, carefully handed down through generations, and subsequently recorded in writing and preserved in books now scattered in libraries across the world. Rarely the object of a specific study, they are approached here as a field in its own right. The present essay explores such key topics as the impact of tradition approach on medical historiography, the relation between written documents and practice, and the transmission of knowledge across time and cultures with its possible modifications and their processes and causes. Though based on a decade-long close scrutiny of the Greek medical tradition, it establishes parallels with other traditions, and invites not only to do comparative study, but also to apply to other traditions the approach proposed here. By laying down the foundations for a fresh analysis of ancient medical knowledge as a discipline, Medical Traditions - Exploring the Field will be a reference for any scholar interested in the medical record of the past, be it for the sake of history or for renewed applications in present day.
