Download or read book Induced Plithogenic Cognitive Maps with Combined Connection Matrix to investigate the glitches of online learning system written by R. Priya and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2021-06-21 with total page 20 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Plithogenic Cognitive Maps (PCM) introduced by Nivetha and Smarandache are extensively applied in decision making. This research work extends PCM to Induced PCM by introducing the concept of combined connection matrix (CCM). The proposed induced PCM decision making model with CCM is applied to examine the glitches of online learning system. It was observed that expert’s opinion on the associational impact between the factors considered for study in the form combined connection matrix is more advantageous on comparison with conventional connection matrix representation, as CCM is a mixture of crisp/fuzzy/intuitionistic/neutrosophic representations. The proposed model will certainly facilitate the decision makers in designing optimal solutions to the real time problems and it shall be extended based on the needs of the decision makers and employed in various other decision making environment. The shortcomings of the model are also discussed in brief.

Download or read book Applications of Extended Plithogenic Sets in Plithogenic Sociogram written by S. Sudha and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2023-01-01 with total page 28 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The theory of plithogeny developed by Smarandache is described as a more generalized form of representing sets of different nature such as crisp, fuzzy, intuitionistic and neutrosophic. Plithogenic set comprises degree of appurtenance and contradiction degree with respect only to the dominant attribute. This paper introduces extended plithogenic sets comprising degrees of appurtenance and contradiction with respect to both dominant and recessive attributes. The extension of the 5-tuple Plithogenic sets to a 7- tuple plithogenic sets helps in developing a more comprehensive kind of Plithogenic sociogram. The newly developed plithogenic sets and its implications in Plithogenic sociogram is validated by the decision making problem on food processing industries. The obtained results using extended plithogenic sets are more promising in comparison to the conventional plithogenic sets. The proposed kind of plithogenic sets will benefit the decision makers to make optimal decisions based on both optimistic and pessimistic approaches.
Download or read book Multi Criteria Decision Making Models and Techniques Neutrosophic Approaches written by Abdel-Basset, Mohamed and published by IGI Global. This book was released on 2024-09-12 with total page 418 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the rising information technology trends, cost, time, delivery, space, quality, durability, and price are all paramount in addressing managerial decision-making complexities within the supply chain, transportation, and inventory control. The intensifying competition within imprecise environments further complicates these challenges. Customer demand, influenced by multifaceted factors such as production price and income levels, often remains elusive or unpredictable in the real-world market. Fuzzy sets, while useful, need to catch up in directly capturing such uncertainties due to their numeric membership functions. Multi-Criteria Decision Making Models and Techniques: Neutrosophic Approaches explores the neutrosophic sets as a solution, uniquely poised to accommodate inherent uncertainties. Neutrosophic sets and logic are evolutionary extensions of fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy sets and logic. In real-world problems, these diverse uncertain systems demonstrate a capability to manage heightened levels of uncertainty. This book delves into the burgeoning field of neutrosophic theory, elucidating its application in operations research. Neutrosophic sets and logic have emerged as pivotal tools in grappling with uncertainty, impreciseness, vagueness, incompleteness, inconsistency, and indeterminacy.

Download or read book Theories of Communication Networks written by Peter R. Monge and published by Oxford University Press. This book was released on 2003-03-27 with total page 431 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To date, most network research contains one or more of five major problems. First, it tends to be atheoretical, ignoring the various social theories that contain network implications. Second, it explores single levels of analysis rather than the multiple levels out of which most networks are comprised. Third, network analysis has employed very little the insights from contemporary complex systems analysis and computer simulations. Foruth, it typically uses descriptive rather than inferential statistics, thus robbing it of the ability to make claims about the larger universe of networks. Finally, almost all the research is static and cross-sectional rather than dynamic. Theories of Communication Networks presents solutions to all five problems. The authors develop a multitheoretical model that relates different social science theories with different network properties. This model is multilevel, providing a network decomposition that applies the various social theories to all network levels: individuals, dyads, triples, groups, and the entire network. The book then establishes a model from the perspective of complex adaptive systems and demonstrates how to use Blanche, an agent-based network computer simulation environment, to generate and test network theories and hypotheses. It presents recent developments in network statistical analysis, the p* family, which provides a basis for valid multilevel statistical inferences regarding networks. Finally, it shows how to relate communication networks to other networks, thus providing the basis in conjunction with computer simulations to study the emergence of dynamic organizational networks.

Download or read book Fuzzy Logic with Engineering Applications written by Timothy J. Ross and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2005-04-08 with total page 652 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fuzzy logic refers to a large subject dealing with a set of methods to characterize and quantify uncertainty in engineering systems that arise from ambiguity, imprecision, fuzziness, and lack of knowledge. Fuzzy logic is a reasoning system based on a foundation of fuzzy set theory, itself an extension of classical set theory, where set membership can be partial as opposed to all or none, as in the binary features of classical logic. Fuzzy logic is a relatively new discipline in which major advances have been made over the last decade or so with regard to theory and applications. Following on from the successful first edition, this fully updated new edition is therefore very timely and much anticipated. Concentration on the topics of fuzzy logic combined with an abundance of worked examples, chapter problems and commercial case studies is designed to help motivate a mainstream engineering audience, and the book is further strengthened by the inclusion of an online solutions manual as well as dedicated software codes. Senior undergraduate and postgraduate students in most engineering disciplines, academics and practicing engineers, plus some working in economics, control theory, operational research etc, will all find this a valuable addition to their bookshelves.
