In 2016, around 1 in 10 social housing tenants identified as Indigenous, and these tenants were more likely to live in households with children or extended family than were non-Indigenous tenants. The sheet also compares how these tenants differed from non-Indigenous households in their responses to questions about satisfaction with their housing provider, proximity to facilities and services, use of community and support services, and the benefits of living in social housing.
