Book Implication of Ibadah Akhlaq Manner in Shariah

Download or read book Implication of Ibadah Akhlaq Manner in Shariah written by Professor Dr. ABM. Mahbubul Islam and published by Ahsan Publication. This book was released on with total page 219 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The book “Implication of Ibadah, Akhlaq and Manner in Shariah” is consisted of three dimensions that is Ibadah (worship), Akhlaq (character) and Manners (Adab). These are the most important basic elements of Islam which are essential to know and put in practice by each and every individual. Ibadah is so important for which man and jinn are created. Akhlaq is so important for which the Messenger of Allah was sent and assigned for and manner is so important the observance of which is imperative of having paradise. As regards "Ibadah“ Allah Ta’ala says “Indeed I have not created man and jinn but they should worship Me” and as regards Akhlaq or character the Messenger of Allah says that “Indeed I have been sent to perfect the character (of man)” and as regards manner (in responding toward a favor) Allah Ta’ala command “when you are greeted with a greeting; greet in return that which is better than it or (at least) return it equally. Certainly, Allah is Ever Careful Account Taker of all things”. The outcome or findings of this writing is firstly have shown that Ibadah, in addition to the meaning of worship - is the obedience of the entire set of laws of Allah without any reservations whatsoever. Secondly, performance of all permissible acts and avoidance of all prohibited acts in one’s life time is Ibadah provided these are done in carrying out one’s obligation for the pleasure of Allah and reward in the hereafter. Hence, a man can be a good worshiper of Allah while he is a Politian, or a professional if he leads his all of his actions, duties, obligations etc., in conformity with the law of Allah. Thirdly, the sole objective of sending the Messenger of Allah is to perfect the character means to purify the soul of human being as the soul is responsible for producing good actions, reactions and behaviors. Hence, character of a person good means the soul of a person is good and having of good soul is the way either to paradise and bad soul is the hell. Fourthly, Adab or etiquette referred to the obligation, duties or responsibilities of a man towards his own body, own soul, towards all other human and non human beings to be shown as per the ways and methods prescribed by shariah. Fifthly, the write up is of the conclusion that, the true objectives of the creation of man could only be realized in its true sense in knowing and observing these three as dimensions. Leaving and observing of them would lead its followers towards the learning and practicing of entire set of shariah which is the ultimate objective of the law of Islam.

Book Introduction to Islamic Law

Download or read book Introduction to Islamic Law written by Ahmed Akgunduz and published by IUR Press. This book was released on 2010-01-01 with total page 22 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “The world today has become one large village. Muslims and non-Muslims live side by side and have to learn about one another, share commonalities and respect differences. At this time more than one and a half billion Muslims live in this village. Some of them are pious Muslims, trying to live in accordance with Islamic rules, whereas others do not while believing that these rules come from God (the Qur’an), from interpretations of His Messenger (the Sunnah) or the consensus of Muslim jurists (ijmâ‘), and are at least rules derived via analogy (qiyâs) from the main sources of Islam. Most Muslims think along these lines and agree with the above. The reader should remember that Muslim individuals should live according to Islamic rules in private, but no individual is responsible for implementing Islamic law. In any event, the need to learn the facts about Islamic law is necessary for Muslims as well as for non-Muslims if they live in the same society with Muslims, at least in the sense of general information. In any event, the need to learn the facts about Islamic law is necessary for Muslims as well as for non-Muslims if they live in the same society with Muslims, at least in the sense of general information. We should keep in mind here that only sovereign Muslim states/governments have the legal authority to implement Islamic law. An individual Muslim has no legal authority or power to implement Islamic law. The law of Islam certainly does not say that every Muslim is obliged to implement Islamic law. It matters not how efficient and popular that individual may be as a brave warrior or a meticulous planner of unlawful and immoral schemes of hatred, terror and destruction. Only people who are properly qualified and trained, and hold a license from Muslim governmental authorities, have the authority to issue fatwâs. Not every Muslim individual qualifies as a Muftî (a jurist-consult or scholar of law who has been given a license to issue fatwâs.). For this reason Bediuzzaman says: “And we know that the fundamental aims of the Qur’an and its essential elements are fourfold: divine unity (al-tawhîd), prophethood (al-nubuwwah), the resurrection of the dead (al-hashr), and justice (al-ʿadalah). Al-Adâlah means law. He adds in another treatise: “Let our ulul-amr (satesmen and political authorities) think over implementing these rules”. This book is divided into eight chapters. Chapter I.Because of the many misunderstandings that arise, some terms related to Islamic Law, such as Sharî‛ah, fiqh, qânûn, ‘urf, Islamic Law, and Muhammadan Law are explained. Chapter II.Here, in this chapter dedicated to references on Islamic Law, the real added value of this book is found. Chapter III. This chapter looks at four periods of Islamic Law: the period of the Prophet Muhammad, the period of the Companions, the period of the Tabi‘în, and an introduction to the period of Mujtahidîn. Chapter IV. We will provide detailed information here on the different law schools and theological divisions. Chapter V. This chapter will be devoted to a period of Islamic law that has been neglected in both old and new books and articles, i.e. the period of Islamic Law after the Turks converted to Islam (960-1926). Chapter VI. This chapter will focus also on three main subjects: Anglo-Muhammadan law (Indo-Muslim law), Syariah or Islamic Law in Southeast Asia, and Islamic Law in contemporary Muslim states like Egypt, Pakistan, Morocco, Indonesia and Jordan. Chapter VII. We will explain the system and methodology of Islamic Law in this chapter. Chapter VIII. We will give some brief information here on the implementation of Islamic Law, its future; some encyclopedical works on Islamic law, and new institutions of Islamic fiqh.”

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: My Journey Through Time is a spiritual memoir that sheds light on the workings of karma— the law of cause and effect that creates one’s present circumstances and relationships—as we see it unfold through Dena’s vivid memories of her previous births. We travel back in time as Dena learns of a life in early 20th century Russia, ranging from the overthrow of the Czar through Nazi Germany; then it’s back further to a life in early 19th century America in the Deep South, and before that to a time in Africa in the early 18th century. Her lives in the East—in Persia, Japan, and India—go back to the 15th-17th centuries. With each past life, we can see the way in which it has impacted her present life, how it has stemmed from the end of the previous birth, and how it will influence her next life. Dena Merriam is the founder of an interfaith organization, the Global Peace Initiative of Women. A long-time disciplined meditator, Dena’s access to her past lives brings a clearer awareness and purpose to her present life, and also overcomes any fear of death. The memories are triggered when Dena meets a new person or visits a new place in her current life. The memories bring remembrances of past suffering, but also recollections of spiritual teachers and wise guidance. She has not used and does not advocate past-life regressions or hypnosis as a way to prompt memories to return. Dena has decided to share her story, despite being a very private person, in hopes that it can provide comfort and awaken the inner knowing of your own ongoing journey through time.

The political philosophy of Ihsan privileges process over structure, deeds over identity, love over law and mercy and forgiveness over retribution. The work invites Muslims to move away from thinking about the form of Islamic government and to strive to create a self-critical society that defends national virtue and generates institutions and practices that provide good governance.

This book was released on 2018-03-01 with total page 117 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Master's Thesis from the year 2016 in the subject Business economics - Banking, Stock Exchanges, Insurance, Accounting, , course: Islamic banking, language: English, abstract: This study was primarily designed to review the impact of Islamic Work Ethics on employees’ job performance; this is because of the persistent immoral concerns in the society and corporations like dishonesty, fraud, sexual harassment, etc. The elements of Islamic work ethics for this study cover honesty, rewards, commitment and satisfaction only. The study specifically focuses on UUM administrative staff. In order to achieve the research objectives, the study employ a quantitative research method, mainly survey where questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. The research population is UUM administrative staff in Sintok main campus. The study is significant to the body of knowledge, policy makers, practitioners and academicians. Since most of literatures on perceived benefits of Islamic work ethics are theoretical, this study will add on the stock of knowledge on Islamic ethics through empirical contributions. Therefore, it will contribute to knowledge on this field. Policy makers and Islamic corporations can design their code of ethics to incorporate Islamic values and this will have great positive impact on their performance as well as economic growth. Future researchers can explore more on other variables as well as expand the size of the study in order to contribute more to knowledge. Ethics and morality are core values of all divine religions. All divine religions that are revealed by Allah to His messengers with divine books promote ethics and morality. According to Mayne ethics runs deeper than the internal compass and describes a social system or societal structure of moral codes that govern virtuous action. From a secular perspective, ethics change from group to group and society to society. But from the Christian perspective, ethics should be concrete and governed by God. Christian ethics does not change from society to society, as secular moral codes may do, Christians are a single group adhering to the ethical code of the Bible, rather than multiple sects adhering to differing laws and customs.
