Vous, les égoïstes et traîtres, Vous, les paresseux et peureux, Vous, les calculateurs et profiteurs, Comprenez-vous? Je dis, Rien. Vous voulez ce que vous voulez, et je sais ce que je veux. Trop De Couteaux Dans Nos Dos est un univers complexe où se rencontrent les jumelles joie et tristesse, paix et guerre, satisfaction et déception, politique et religion, culture et histoire, maladie et santé, entente et haine, vie et mort, pauvreté et richesse... L'auteur voit en l'être humain un grand tricheur qui soigne son aspect extérieur en laissant en jachère l'aspect intérieur. Et c'est ici la vraie source de nos nombreux maux. Il croit que pour atteindre la paix et le vrai bonheur, tout humain doit retourner cultiver et nettoyer ses deux jardins, à savoir: l'âme et le coeur.

Notion juridique remontant au XVIIe siècle, le terme d’ex(tra)territorialité suscite depuis longtemps l’intérêt des sciences humaines et de la littérature qui, depuis le XXe siècle, n’ont pas hésité à se l’approprier pour l’élargir et le transformer. Ce transfert du qualificatif ex(tra)territorial vers les humanités a ouvert un autre espace de réflexion, un espace d’imagination, grâce notamment à une relecture créatrice, ce qui a pu donner lieu à de nouveaux concepts apparentés comme celui de « déterritorialisation ».
