The last chapter presents the basics on Marian devotion which culminates in the consecration to Mary (as a response to her maternal mediation). Tutto scaturisce da due distinte letture della natura dell’uomo. Entrambe le visioni di Dio,quella vetero e quella neotestamentaria, però, rapportano l’uomo a Dio in modo tale da far cogliere la nostra fi nitudine e in modo da far avvertire dentro di noi “la disperazione”, per dirla con Kierkegaard, che anima il nostro tentativo di tornare a Lui. L’uomo moderno è ancora capace di tollerare un peso di tale portata? A questo punto, la rifl essione si indirizza verso di noi, uomini del nostro tempo.
