With the increased outpouring of demonic activities in our world today as we race towards the end, it will be practically impossible to be effective in ministry and live a successful and victorious Christian life without the infilling and continuously infilling of the Holy Spirit for ministry in advancing the kingdom of God in a wicked world.If you are a Christian, the Holy Spirit already dwells within you. How is that possible? For our Example, consider the following. When you purchase a mechanical item that runs on batteries, frequently the notice "Batteries Not Included" is printed on the box. The Holy Spirit - your source of power for living - is "included" when you receive Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord. Therefore, you do not need to invite Him to come into your life. He came to live within you when you became a Christian, and Jesus promised that He would never leave you.The moment you received Christ and asked the Holy Spirit to come into you, the Holy Spirit not only came to indwell you, but He imparted to you spiritual life, causing you to be born anew as a child of God. The Holy Spirit also baptized you into the body of Christ. In1 Corinthians 12:13 Amplified Bible (AMP)There is but one indwelling of the Holy Spirit, one rebirth of the Holy Spirit, and one baptism of the Holy Spirit--all of which occur when you receive Christ.Being filled with the Holy Spirit, however, is not a once-for-all experience. There is one BIG filling and subsequent many fillings, as is made clear inEphesians 5:18 Amplified Bible (AMP)18 Do not get drunk with wine, for that is wickedness (corruption, stupidity), but be filled with the [Holy] Spirit and constantly guided by Him.Depending on your desire for the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, it could happen before water baptism as we see in Cornelius household in the books of Acts 10:44-48 or afterwards through the laying on of hands or praying and asking for infilling independently. It could happen at baptism or long after water baptism. Some had it and have grieved the Holy Spirit out of their lives. If you confess your sins and repent, He will be wiling to return. If you have been baptized in the Holy Spirit, you need to continually recharge.
