Book excerpt: Incredibly, Mike Brannon wins the Power Ball Lottery of almost 300 million dollars, but he already knows how he will spend it. In point of fact, he had been given the winning numbers in advance by aliens for the express purpose of funding and building a survival community prior to Earth's impending collapse of civilization and fall into chaos. The near extinct humanoid aliens are escaping their dying water world. This "Blue Team" hopes to help and merge with a human survival team in hopes of saving their race, in part, by in-breeding with humans for their needed DNA diversity. They have some limited ability to view the future and use this ability to obtain the winning lottery numbers. They also witnessed the future impending collapse of Earth's civilization, which would also mean their certain doom as a race as well. While en route to Earth they recruit Mike Brannon via Earth's Internet to build this survival community and provides the funding source via the Lottery. Mike recruits one hundred menage survival members of young, single, educated members to help him build and defend this community. This survival community hopes to remain sequestered for a minimum of two years or until all the rioting and lawlessness runs its course. Afterwards, they hope to help rebuild civilization. Three of Mike's first recruits are, like himself, Cherokee Indians. He is the business manager in charge of the project, but one of his recruits is a real estate agent and attorney. Another is an accountant, while the third is a marine biologist/botanist. These three recruits all happen to be sisters protecting each other's future survival. Out of necessity due to the unusual survival nature of the situation, they become involved romantically and sexually with Mike. Much has to be accomplished quickly, and conflict with the outside collapsing society develops even quicker, forcing them ever more dependent on each other. The community of ex-military security, doctors, dentist, farmers, engineers, etc. buys land and builds a "Castle" on the shores of Lake Tinklier in a remote area of Oklahoma. Supplies, equipment, weapons, food stores, and everything imaginable for future survival are stocked. Even before the final collapse of civilization and roaming gangs, the community must defend their supplies from FEMA intent on taking them. CONTENT WARNING: Contains adult themes (erotica) which are unsuitable for persons under 18 years of age.

From childhood to the present time, he explains what has shaped and sharpened him for this activity, which is regarded as very hazardous and engaged. He explains how this nonpaid activity is linked with the other parts of his life. Born in New York City, Joe taught in New York, Hawaii, and Michigan. In Hawaii, he started writing and by the age of 25 he published his first manuscript. He later moved to Michigan and then to Wisconsin, where he developed a tumor which began to give him delusions. His delusions led him to construct a giant labyrinth on a tropical island. He also had an obsession with looking for a message he believed he had left for himself in a past life, in the form of a poem, song, or story. He went insane with paranoia and believed the karma police were coming to take him away. He also became obsessed with cheating death, practicing a religion called Voodoo Botany, believing it would make him a god. On a late night talk show, he made a prophecy about the extinction of the human race. He was sent to rest at Fennimore Place Institute. The maze was never finished. He died broke and penniless.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Kim, a.k.a. Tempest, trained in close combat, medium and long-range kills, and more than two martial disciplines, worked at the as dubbed Cave where she planned solo missions for herself and others. She was often invited into meetings for her ability to see solutions, even if a finagle was required to make it plausible. When she ran across some Raiders in the field and figured out someone was trying to sabotage their unit from the inside, she called a meeting to inform those necessary she was taking mission planning for the Raiders, and that she and her girls would take on that task for the special forces units for each branch. When she went to handpick her Raider team, her whole focus was caught when she saw a man who was continuing to fight despite obvious fatigue, his team the only one intact when the drill ended. Kim chose Matthew, a.k.a Marine Raider Gabriel, to lead her Raiders, and two weeks later the bug she would use to communicate with him went into his ear, and he was given a pen that transmitted pulses directly into hers. Fast forward ten years; the Alpha Angels had transitioned to civilian life as well as could be expected, forming the Alpha Sorority: Angels chapter, or ASAs. They built business and worked with charities to help their chosen hometown of Everywhere thrive, while covertly cleaning up the streets to make it a safe place for all in the community to call home. Kim opened Wordsmithing Inc. to assist others in putting thoughts on paper, and all was going exactly to plan. That was until she was told the company Matt worked for was buying one of the spaces she had had renovated, and that Matt was one of the leads assigned to Everywhere with Katy’s Raider Eric. Letting the Fates decide what would happen was an easy call for her because Matt only dated women who looked like they were delivered from skeletons-are-us, and she certainly didn’t fit that image. Kim spent her days at her businesses, was the chosen legal guardian for a teenager, and had almost managed to go to sleep once without vocally telling him goodnight so she assumed missing him had started to become manageable. But now that it was possible to meet him, she also understood Eric’s issued edict of no, the underlying message that she wasn’t good enough for Matt well understood. It had hurt, but she stayed in her corner, grateful the other ASAs got to spend time with him and were watching over him for her, if jealous. Given that, what exactly was an Angel supposed to do if, while getting her morning coffee at Temptations, he growled at her...
