De acuerdo al enfoque teorico abordado, este estudio se realizo siguiendo una metodologia cualitativa (Erickson, 1989) considerando que el estudio sobre la construccion de significados, la ciudadania, la identidad y la memoria, no se puede abordar por medio de una metodologia cuantitativa, ya que resultaria insuficiente, se propone como metodo mas apropiado para realizar la investigacion el Analisis del Discurso, trabajado desde los planteamientos del Analisis Critico del Discurso (ACD) (Van Dijk, 2003). The contributors to this volume open provocative avenues of research on Latin American societies by demonstrating how, in the realm of identity politics, supra-national institutions and normativity socialise national census bureaus in a way that largely annuls ideological differences between regional governments. Tercero, porque el modelo bolivariano ofrece una respuesta democrática y solidaria al capitalismo salvaje que propone el neo-liberalismo en la actualidad. Venezuela hoy nos ofrece algo radicalmente diferente, es "la posibilidad optimista" de una democracia nueva, solidaria, soberana, socialista, moderna, no dogmática y por qué no, ecológica.

This book is the first systematic study to investigate why it is easier to vote in some democracies than in others. It develops the concept of election administration inclusiveness, which considers all of the administrative requirements and procedures that a citizen confronts in exercising his or her right to vote. It then draws on in-depth case studies from Central America and data from Latin America more broadly to address how political parties and other actors interact in constructing election administration rules and procedures. Using a theoretical framework centred on electoral threat, party capacity, and electoral management body composition, the author identifies multiple pathways to inclusive and restrictive election administration.
