Book I Will Meet You on the Other Side

Download or read book I Will Meet You on the Other Side written by Thami Nodwele and published by Partridge Publishing Africa. This book was released on 2014-06-26 with total page 90 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is about my life from the time I was born and how I was born, my upbringing, and the number of different kinds of experiences I had while growing. I have decided to base the story in this book on the time when I did not know the Lord up to the time I was saved. I have been encouraged to do so because I felt I experienced quite a lot of weird situations, more than some people do. I think it is best to let others know how some other individuals experience life so that they can learn something out of their not-so-good stories. There were situations I came across, bad or good, which built and changed my character as a person for the better. I became stronger and wiser through hardship and through training I received in different aspects of life. It was not an easy path for me, but I do not have much regrets of how I was raised because even if I did, I cannot change my past. I can only learn from it and be of help to others where I can. In everything I have said in this book, the best thing that happened to me and I am proud of was my salvation. I do not take my salvation lightly; I am very grateful that I am saved. If I could, I would persuade and preach to every individual I come across up to the ends of the earth that they can accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Because hell is real and heaven is real, and irrespective of the two, one cannot befriend his Fathers enemy. One needs to love and be obedient to his Father.

Book excerpt: A vampire’s kiss will change her forever . . . Fourth in the “lush and lyrical” Nightwalkers series from the New York Times–bestselling author of Elijah (Linda Howard). Damien is the longest-surviving Prince in all of Vampire history, but a scholar he is not. Still, he feels duty bound to visit the recently unearthed Nightwalker Library, a treasure-trove of knowledge about the Vampires, Lycanthropes, and Demons of the earth. And it is in the library that he first encounters Syreena. Advisor and sister of the Lycanthrope Queen, Syreena is a striking anomaly, for she can take the forms of both peregrine falcon and dolphin—a trait revealed in her two-colored hair and eyes. When she is abducted and tortured by a rogue Demon, it is Damien’s life-saving bite that frees her, and leaves her reeling from desire in its wake . . . The song of Syreena’s blood is too powerful for Damien to resist. And as the two predators face off, both ravenous for the touch of the other, rebellion brews in their midst . . . “Frank’s latest Nightwalker entry is fast-paced and steamy, nicely developing the world of her generally upstanding, gorgeous and charismatic supernatural creatures.” —Publishers Weekly “The latest addition to an incredible paranormal series like no other . . . The action and suspense is non-stop until the very last page.” —Fresh Fiction

Book The Chicken Qabalah of Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford

Download or read book The Chicken Qabalah of Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford written by Lon Milo DuQuette and published by Weiser Books. This book was released on 2010-07-01 with total page 215 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A unique and humorous -- and also practical -- approach to the increasingly popular study of Qabalah. This is a seriously funny book! Traditional Qabalistic (or Cabalistic, or, indeed, Kabbalistic -- read this book to find out what the difference is...we know you've always wondered) sources tend to be a bit, er, dry. DuQuette spices up the Qabalah and makes it come alive, restoring the joy of learning the fundamentals of this admittedly arcane system by using simple, amusing anecdotes and metaphors. This account, written psuedepigraphically (fictitiously attributed to a supposed authority), allows DuQuette as Rabbi Lamed Ben Clifford to soar to outrageous heights and, when necessary, stand apart from the silliness to highlight the golden eggs of Qabalistic wisdom nested therein. Sure to be a revelation to those who think that learning about the Qabalah needs to be tedious and serious, DuQuette shows that great truths can be transmitted through the medium of laughter.
