Book excerpt: "My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge" (Hosea 4:6). This book is not meant for those who refuse to step out of their box, but instead cling onto their blinders, believing that the world is exactly as they have always been taught it is. Rather, it is specially written for those who discern that things are not exactly as they seem, and are dedicated to the pursuit of truth and knowledge. "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places"(Ephesians 6:12). "Behold a White Horse" is a roller coaster ride engaged in a myriad of related topics. The reader will be taken all the way back to ancient Babylon - the foundation of all secret societies, and continue on through Egypt and Rome. Other topics covered are ceremonial magick, kundalini power and evil spirits, the Talmud, Kabbalah, the apostasy of the Christian church today, alchemy, Papal Rome and the Catholic church, false prophets of the world, televangelists - wolves in sheep's clothing, & pagans in the pulpit." " Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator, who is blessed forever. Amen" (Romans 1:25) "This work is spiritually based, using many scriptures. It is the prayer of the author that through careful reading of these pages, the reader can connect the dots into a whole new level of discernment to help guard against demon traps and the many devices of Satan. Knowledge is power and the truth really does set you free."

Book David Cronenberg s Existenz

Download or read book David Cronenberg s Existenz written by David Cronenberg and published by . This book was released on 1999 with total page 124 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: From the award-winning master of new wave horror films comes a mesmerizing new story of the strange and the unexpected. Based on David Cronenberg's screenplay, starring Jennifer Jason Leigh and Willem Dafoe, this is the graphic novel of the movie eXistenZ, drawn by talented graphic artist Sean Scoffield. The story revolves around eXistenZ, a virtual reality game of wild and unpredictable fantasy invented by the gaming goddess, Allegra Geller. Using biotechnic adaptations, her new game is plugged directly into each player's spinal cord. Because the gaming pod has access to the memories, anxieties and preoccupations of its players, the direction each game takes depends entirely on who's playing. The game is so realistic that players often cannot tell which dimension they are inhabiting. While gaming devices plug in at the unveiling of eXistenZ, an assassin tries to kill Allegra Geller with a strange but deadly gristle gun made of human flesh that fires human teeth. In the confusion, Allegra is rescued by bodyguard Ted Pikul, and so begins an adventure in which nothing is what it seems and rival guerrilla factions fight and kill for who will control the dangerously intriguing game of eXistenZ. At stake is the very notion of what we know as the real world. In this disturbingly labyrinthine world of morphing realities, master fantasist David Cronenberg holds us spellbound as we weave toward the unexpected climactic ending to this tale about the fragility of reality.

Book The Control of Candy Jones

  • Pages : 286 pages

Download or read book The Control of Candy Jones written by Donald Bain and published by . This book was released on 1976-12-15 with total page 286 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Candy Jones" was the stage name of Jessica Wilcox (b. 1921) who became famous as a model and "pinup girl" in the early 1940s. Her story seems too bizarre to be true. One of America's most famous models, brainwashed by the CIA? Yes, it is another example of truth being stranger than fiction. The story begins with Candy's wedding to Long John Nebel, New York's most successful radio talk-show host. During the wedding, and regularly thereafter, Candy's personality would seem to shift. She would suddenly change from her affable, self-effacing self to a brusque, aggressive "stranger." For the first few months of the marriage, these shifts were infrequent enough that Nebel didn't worry much about it, but as time went on, they got worse. Nebel began trying to relax his wife by hypnotizing her. Although Candy insisted that she couldn't be hypnotized, she slipped easily into a relaxed state, and then into a healthy, deep sleep. But during the third session, with no suggestion from Nebel, Candy spontaneously regressed to a young age. After that, Nebel began to record their sessions. The result of these sessions was that Nebel discovered his wife had been brainwashed into have a second identity, "Arlene," whom a CIA doctor had used to carry messages all over the world. Eventually, Candy was tortured at CIA headquarters, so that her doctor could display her "successful" programming. "The Control of Candy Jones" sent shockwaves through the corridors of power when it was first published in 1976. After reportedly being suppressed by the CIA, it became an instant classic, and remains so today.

Children learn to use their calm-down place—a quiet space where they can cry, ask for a hug, sing to themselves, be rocked in a grown-up’s arms, talk about feelings, and breathe: “One, two, three . . . I’m calm as can be. I’m taking care of me.” After a break, toddlers will feel like new—and adults will, too. Books include tips for parents and caregivers.
