Die Briefe und Dokumente geben einen lebendigen Eindruck von Rocks vielseitiger wissenschaftlicher T�tigkeit und seiner unternehmenden, eigenwilligen Pers�nlichkeit. "Unterlagen ueber Joseph Rock sind weit verstreut. Dementsprechend ist es schwierig, einen guten �berblick ueber das vorliegende Material zu gewinnen.
