Download or read book Toothache and Gum disease naturally treated with Homeopathy and Schuessler salts written by Robert Kopf and published by BookRix. This book was released on 2018-05-23 with total page 86 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Toothache is caused when the nerve to a tooth is irritated or inflammed. It often radiates to the cheek, jaw, jaw joint and ears. The pain is sharp and throbbing, sometimes accompanied by swelling around the tooth, fever and headache. Causes of toothache include tooth decay, abscessed tooth, tooth fracture, a damaged filling, an infection of the tooth's nerve, a cavity (mostly created by bacteria), cracks in the enamel, exposed dental necks, inflammation of the jaw and sinuses, heat and cold stimuli, grinding teeth and infected gums. Gum disease is an irritation and inflammation of the tissues and bones that surround and support the teeth. The two types of gum disease are called gingivitis and periodontitis. Gingivitis affects the gums, the tissue that surrounds the teeth and causes red, swollen and tender gums that bleed easily. Periodontitis is a severe gum disease that spreads below the gums to damage the tissues and bone that support the teeth. Periodontitis causes the gums to shrink back from the teeth, leaving pockets between the teeth and gums where germs (bacteria) can grow and damage the bone that supports the teeth. Teeth look longer, may become loose and fall out. In this homeopathic and naturopathic adviser, I will give you recommendations how to treat toothache and gum disease naturally with Homeopathy and Schuessler salts (also named cell salts, tissue salts). I will present you the most proven homeopathic remedies and Schuessler salts, including the appropriate potency and dosage. Naturopathy works holistically. It does not treat single symptoms only. It treats the whole body, mind and soul. I wish you much success, joy in life and especially your health.

Book excerpt: Bestselling author Dr. Josh Axe explains how to treat more than seventy diseases, lose weight, and increase vitality with traditional healing practices passed down through the ages. Long before the first pharmaceutical companies opened their doors in the 1850s, doctors treated people, not symptoms. And although we've become used to popping pills, Americans have finally had it with the dangerous side effects, addiction and over-prescribing—and they're desperate for an alternative. Here's the good news: That alternative has been here all along in the form of ancient treatments used for eons in traditional Chinese, Ayurvedic and Greek medicine. Ancient Remedies is the first comprehensive layman's guide that will bring together and explain to the masses the very best of these time-tested practices. In Ancient Remedies, Dr. Axe explores the foundational concepts of ancient healing—eating right for your type and living in sync with your circadian clock. Readers will learn how traditional practitioners identified the root cause of each patient's illness, then treated it with medicinal herbs, mushrooms, CBD, essential oils, and restorative mind-body practices. What's more, they'll discover how they can use these ancient treatments themselves to cope with dozens of diseases, from ADHD to diabetes, hypothyroidism, autoimmune disease, and beyond. Through engaging language and accessible explanations, Ancient Remedies teaches readers everything they need to know about getting, and staying, healthy—without toxic, costly synthetic drugs.

Book Oral Health and Herbal Medicine

Download or read book Oral Health and Herbal Medicine written by Khalid Rehman Hakeem and published by Springer. This book was released on 2018-12-17 with total page 46 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Oral health loss is one of the major problems existing all over the world and is one of the top causes of death when unmanaged. The oral cavity is home to numerous pathogenic microorganisms, some of which are responsible for the progression and development of various systemic diseases such as cancer, diabetes and myocardial infarction. Worldwide, 60–90% of school children and nearly 100% of adults have dental cavities, often leading to pain and discomfort. There are implications for the global economy as well, due to the continuous burden of investing resources to maintain oral hygiene. Not surprisingly, developing countries are disproportionally affected. There is thus an urgent need to develop economical solutions for the treatment of oral diseases. The trend of exploring plants or plant-derived compounds for the prevention and cure of death-causing diseases is on the rise. The use of traditional medicine for oral diseases is an ancient practice in which medicinal herbs play a major role. Medicinal plants have minimal side effects and no denigrating properties. Accordingly the use of medicinal plants to curtail oral pathogens has been reported by a number of studies. The present book updates the issues related to oral health, oral diseases and the role of medicinal plants in overcoming orally-derived health problems. We also highlight the knowledge gaps in oral health related problems with medicinal plants as one of the solutions. Our ultimate goal is to encourage future research and application of medicinal plants for economical and efficient treatment of oral diseases.
