The world-wide book release for Texas Extras was held at the Landlocked Film Festival in Iowa City, Iowa. Film buffs, actors, and on-lookers gathered in front of the Englert Theater where the meet-and-greet was held in conjunction with the Green Carpet event at the festival. Later, a reading from "Texas Extras" was held at Bill's Boomart, part of Uptown Bill's Coffee Shop, along with book signing and photo opportunities.
