When a series of burglaries seems to culminate in murder, brash American Beryl Helliwell and proper Brit Edwina Davenport are eager to solve the case . . . World-renowned adventuress Beryl Helliwell cited for “reckless” motoring? Why, the very idea! Constable Gibbs just has it in for her. The solution? Charm the magistrate, of course. But days after Beryl's appearance before the bench, she and Edwina pay a visit to the magistrate only to find his home ransacked and the man himself lying dead at the bottom of a grand staircase. Given the state of the house, his death appears to be connected to a rash of robberies in the village. Declan O’Shea, the handsome helper Beryl hired to assist their aged gardener Simpkins, falls under suspicion after having had his own run-in with the magistrate—but mostly, Beryl believes, because he’s Irish. While unofficially looking into the magistrate's murder, the ladies are hired in their official capacity as private inquiry agents to find census reports that have gone missing. Is someone trying to hide something from the census takers—and could that theft have anything to do with the magistrate’s death? Beryl and Edwina are once again in fine form as they engage in a little reckless sleuthing to bring these assorted mysteries to a speedy conclusion. . . .

Book Did Jesus Je hovah salvation know God s name

Download or read book Did Jesus Je hovah salvation know God s name written by Gerard Gertoux and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2016-04-24 with total page 96 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Michael Servetus participated in the Protestant Reformation and translated the Hebrew Bible into Latin. In July 1531, he published his De Trinitatis Erroribus (On the Errors of the Trinity) in which he explained clearly that the Trinity was a 3-headed monster. Accordingly, Catholics and Protestants alike condemned him. He was then arrested in Geneva and burnt at the stake as a heretic by order of the city's Protestant governing council. This book was translated into English only in 1932, but still worse, the main arguments from part V were completely distorted. For example he explained that God's name was Iehouah because in Hebrew this name was close to the name of Iesuah (Jesus), or Iehosuah, which means "Iehouah is salvation". He also knew that according to Paulus de Heredia, a Christian Cabbalist, the meaning of God's name was "He causes to be" (yehauueh), but he never confused the pronunciation of God's name with its Kabbalistic meaning (yehaweh). For Servetus, Iehouah was the only true God.

There's no doubt or reservations on the fact that I have a message to all who hath an ear (spiritual or not) to hear what the Lord has inspired for me to share. • ISBN : 1847476236
  • Pages : 55 pages

Download or read book If I Could Call a Genie written by Deborah Brockbank and published by Chipmunkapublishing ltd. This book was released on 2011-06-01 with total page 55 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Description Imogen Baxendale is a normal girl (if any pubescent girl can be called normal), living quite a normal sort of life of going to school and weekly riding lessons, until unexplained fatigue and emotional turmoil begin to dominate her life. Numerous trips to the doctor and specialists result in a diagnosis of depression. 'IF I COULD CALL A GENIE and make the black line go' is Gen's own, intensely private, journal which takes the reader through her journey with childhood/adolescent depression. Aimed at the older child/young teenager this book will provide solace and empathy for anyone experiencing depression themselves, and insight and education for anyone accompanying someone else on that journey. Written as fiction, with all the characters being fictional, it is written by someone with personal experience of childhood depression and, in that, it is very autobiographical. The author revisited many of the feelings and experiences of her teenage years to capture an authentic description of the emotions and desperation often felt. It is, however, framed in contemporary society with up to date medical and therapeutic interventions. This book is very timely. We are living in a society where increasing levels of childhood depression are being recognized and where statistics suggest that 10% of under 16 year olds will experience some form of mental health problem. The character of Gen Baxendale will give these children someone to identify with, a friend with whom to travel through their own experiences. Someone who understands and knows that wishful thinking is not enough to make them better: About the AuthorNow in her early fifties Deborah Brockbank has had a life which has been both troubled and enriched by periods of depression. Particularly difficult were her teenage years when she was first diagnosed with severe endogenous depression. Aware that there are increasing levels of childhood and adolescent depression, Deborah wanted to use her own experiences creatively and 'IF I COULD CALL A GENIE and make the black line go' is the outcome. She hopes that this expression of her own turbulent teenage years will provide solace and empathy for anyone experiencing depression themselves, and insight and education for anyone accompanying someone else on that journey. Deborah lives in Worcestershire, is registered disabled due to a life time of health problems, but is a full time carer. Having left school at fourteen due to her depression, Deborah always thought she was a bit of a 'dunce' but has recently graduated from the Open University with a First Class Honours Degree in Health and Social Care.
