Book How 2 Look Good Naked The Least Amount Of Effort To Look The Best With Your Clothes Off

Download or read book How 2 Look Good Naked The Least Amount Of Effort To Look The Best With Your Clothes Off written by Logan Emmett Herlihy and published by Logan Emmett Herlihy. This book was released on 2019-01-27 with total page 202 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: How 2 Look Good Naked was created after a decade long search to find the best way to exercise efficiently, effectively, and with results worth talking about. For the longest time I was indoctrinated with the idea that, more exercise equals better exercise, and as I've found through my journey in the last two years, this is absolutely not the case. This book is a beginners approach (the one I took) to the field of evidence based exercise. Hopefully to be used as a tool to get readers more interested in the field of Evidence Based Exercise (sometimes called High Intensity Training), or at the very least to help people convinced they don't have the time to get results from less than an hour of training per week. The diet portion of this book is a blend of my own personal experience with the Ketogenic Diet. What has worked for me (and been extremely effective) and the parts that didn't serve me. My hope is with both the exercise and diet portion of this book, people will find something different they've never experienced before. More than following my plan to the letter, I hope it invigorates readers (through some success) to inquire what else could work for them, and to pursue that. I don't proclaim to know anything (or even very much), but I hope this book offers readers an opportunity to get interested in their own health and to become experts of their own bodies. I wish everyone who reads this the best of luck on their own fitness journey, and I hope if anything, I can just help along the way.

  • Author : Donna Aston

  • Pages : 189 pages

Download or read book Look Good Naked written by Donna Aston and published by . This book was released on 2002 with total page 189 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: At last! A revolutionary new concept that finally allows us to improve our body shape, fitness and health in a time-efficient way, free from expensive gadgets, equipment, classes and memberships. Inspired by an eclectic fusion of various exercise methods and reinforced with 20 years of personal experience, MyoKinetics focuses on creating heat and energy while minimising wasted effort. It targets specific muscle groups to achieve 'deep tissue toning'. MyoKinetics will help you to improve muscle tone and shape, flexibility, stamina and strength. All the while, boosting your metabolic 'furnace', thus facilitating fat loss 24/7 - even while you sleep! The principles are based on creating mind-muscle awareness: the ability to isolate individual muscles of choice and focus your efforts towards specific parts of your body. MyoKinetics will be the user-manual for your body. You will learn a time-efficient regime that can be performed anywhere, anytime and by anyone at any level. Unfortunately, to date, most home-based workouts have been a rather flimsy second-best alternative. MyoKinetics doesn't just match the efficiency of working with weights, it is capable of surpassing it! It has not been designed for those who wish to become heavily-muscled bodybuilders. For such extreme muscular development, one would almost certainly require the addition of very heavy weights (amongst other things!). MyoKinetics is unparalleled for developing substantial deep tissue tone. Rather than increasing muscle 'bulk', this specialised toning effect will actually form lean tissue into compact packages of firm and shapely contours, consequently down-sizing your overall appearance. Look Good Naked provides readers with a comprehensive, yet user-friendly, step-by-step guide. Defined in weekly stages, readers will gradually learn the skills of deep tissue toning, from muscle familiarisation tasks to guidance on breathing techniques, posture, core-stability and stretching. The exercises are illustrated to ensure understanding and correct techniques. The caricatures will take readers through every aspect of each exercise as well as some simple but essential anatomy. Donna Aston's characteristic humour, in abundance in anecdotal form as well as 'fitness fairytales' makes this book fun while it teaches a meticulously researched and presented exercise regime.

Book Ask a Manager

Book excerpt: From the creator of the popular website Ask a Manager and New York’s work-advice columnist comes a witty, practical guide to 200 difficult professional conversations—featuring all-new advice! There’s a reason Alison Green has been called “the Dear Abby of the work world.” Ten years as a workplace-advice columnist have taught her that people avoid awkward conversations in the office because they simply don’t know what to say. Thankfully, Green does—and in this incredibly helpful book, she tackles the tough discussions you may need to have during your career. You’ll learn what to say when • coworkers push their work on you—then take credit for it • you accidentally trash-talk someone in an email then hit “reply all” • you’re being micromanaged—or not being managed at all • you catch a colleague in a lie • your boss seems unhappy with your work • your cubemate’s loud speakerphone is making you homicidal • you got drunk at the holiday party Praise for Ask a Manager “A must-read for anyone who works . . . [Alison Green’s] advice boils down to the idea that you should be professional (even when others are not) and that communicating in a straightforward manner with candor and kindness will get you far, no matter where you work.”—Booklist (starred review) “The author’s friendly, warm, no-nonsense writing is a pleasure to read, and her advice can be widely applied to relationships in all areas of readers’ lives. Ideal for anyone new to the job market or new to management, or anyone hoping to improve their work experience.”—Library Journal (starred review) “I am a huge fan of Alison Green’s Ask a Manager column. This book is even better. It teaches us how to deal with many of the most vexing big and little problems in our workplaces—and to do so with grace, confidence, and a sense of humor.”—Robert Sutton, Stanford professor and author of The No Asshole Rule and The Asshole Survival Guide “Ask a Manager is the ultimate playbook for navigating the traditional workforce in a diplomatic but firm way.”—Erin Lowry, author of Broke Millennial: Stop Scraping By and Get Your Financial Life Together
