Then it is asserted how reflection might provide a powerful tool for a patient or a family member seeking to understand change during illness. Given that a hospice or Extended Care Facility setting might include residents of diverse religious and spiritual cultures, it is conceived that interventions of meaning and purpose meant to respect an individual s right to believe and worship according to his or her own convictions. As we proceed it is necessary to address procedures for Ministering in the Workplace with a list of Ten Spiritual Care Interventions essentially marrying spiritual and psychological aspects. The concluding section of this training program provides a selection of Practicums and Verbatim exercises and chaplaincy clinical field supervision. Then finally a discussion of the procedures for Certification through HPCEP and its Affiliates. In conclusion, it is our desire that the many hours of labor, prayer and spiritual guidance, which was placed in completing this project, will continue to be a valuable resorts and tool throughout the ages to come, for equipping Chaplains, Ministers and Caregivers with heart and passion to serve those facing terminal illnesses."
