Book Horary Astrology and the Judgment of Events

Download or read book Horary Astrology and the Judgment of Events written by Barbara H. Watters and published by American Federation of Astr. This book was released on 2012-02 with total page 174 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Horary Astrology and the Judgment of Events is the result of the author's thirty years of using horary methods in her professional practice. Properly used, horary astrology can warn us of dangers and analyze events with uncanny accuracy. Despite it's usefulness, it has been neglected in modern times because, as traditionally taught, the system was too cluttered with medieval dogmas to appeal to the modern mind. In this book, Barbara Watters has achieved a true breakthrough. She has reexamined the horary system, stripped it of medieval superstition, and translated the ancient methods into modern terms. Using actual questions and events, she gives a step-by-step analysis of this method of solving problems and making decisions about real estate, travel, investments, business, employment, health, missing people, court trials, and many other matters. She also explains how to use the horary method to judge the outcome of national and political events, a field in which her predictions have been amazingly accurate. Introductory chapters focus on signs and rulers, the old planets, the new planets, strictures against judgment, the houses, turning the radical chart, timing events in the horary chart, the aspects, placing events in the horary chart, and additional considerations that affect the judgment of events.

Book Horary for Beginners

Download or read book Horary for Beginners written by S.C. Kursija and published by All India Federation of Astrologers' Societies. This book was released on with total page 132 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This highly specialized astrological application is ancient. It deals with specific questions and methods of answering these questions based on Tajik Yogas formed in the horoscope of that time at which the question was asked. The basis of the horary chart is the time when your question is put to the astrologer, and from this a map of the sky is erected. Personal details, such as your date, place and time of birth, are not needed and so, for those who do not have this information, horary provides a method of dealing with problems. Horary astrology has its own strict system. The position of and aspects to the moon are of prime importance. The person asking the question, or querent, is represented by the ruler of the first house in the horoscope formed at the time of question. Planetary aspects are considered more important than in other branches of astrology (although it is the planetary rulers of the houses in question that take precedent in analysis). Typically, a horary chart is read by first assigning the thing asked about, the quesited, to a particular house in the chart. For instance, asking "Where is my lost dog?" would be represented by the sixth house, as it is the house that governs small animals (traditionally, smaller than a goat). Whenever anyone who does not have his/her birth details approaches the Astrologer, in such case the astrologer makes his horary chart and answers his/her queries. Horary astrology is based on the notion that the question and intensity to find its answer arises in the mind as a result of the divine command and at that particular moment, the planetary locations in the cosmos remains favorable. Sometimes a native has the queries related to his/her relatives, friends or neighbors even without having their birth-details. Horary Astrology has the adequate and significant tools based on divine principles to answer even such questions. Horary Astrology has the ability to answer any question whether it is regarding the lost articles, return of the person from abroad or any place, the time to get cure of a sick person etc. This book gives vivid knowledge of not only the basic tenets of Horary Astrology but also explains the related planets, signs and houses for a specific query related to a particular subject. This book has specially been designed for the students of All India Federation of Astrologers' Societies but the other students interested to know this subject can also get benefitted equally with the study of this book.

Book excerpt: A horary textbook on 460 pages, large format. This book is more than just a book - it offers an in-depth, self-teaching course. Its 153 pages of theory and 307 pages of practice (124 example charts, all from the author's files, nearly all with a known result) are a rich source of knowledge, provided by a professional astrologer with over 25 years of practice in consulting and teaching. The author, Ema Kurent (QHP or Qualified Horary Practitioner, DFAstrolS, ISAR CAP, CMA), is not only a qualified and experienced astrological counselor, teacher and international speaker, but also a writer who has produced several bestselling books in her native, Slovenian language. This book will teach you how to become an expert in horary astrology, and it will also show you how to master natal astrology by learning those ancient astrological techniques which are at the core of the horary art. It is suitable for those barely knowing how to draw a chart as well as for more experienced astrologers and horary practitioners. But what is horary astrology? It is an ancient branch of astrology aiming to provide short and clear answers to specific questions. (Does Peter love me? Where are my sunglasses? Is my kitten going to be well again? Should I quit my job? Are we travelling to Scotland this year? Is my husband going to launch his business project soon? Etc.) In the Practice part of the book, all example cases are thoroughly delineated and accompanied by whole-page charts including the necessary tables. Practice is divided into 12 sub-categories: Love and marriage, Pregnancy, Employment and career, Real estate, Finance, Missing articles, Missing people and pets, Physical well-being, Legal questions, Travel, Services, Miscellaneous cases. Each of those chapters is introduced by detailed interpretive rules, specific to each category of questions. The Theory part is much more than simple theory which has already been covered in all the other horary books; it is an elaborate resume of the author's rich experience, and it involves new insights. The book includes chapters on her original research into the use of eclipses, declinations and locational astrology in horary, for example. She also makes sure that you understand the basics, not only of horary but of astrology per se. Some traditional approaches are being questioned, though, and the reader encouraged to re-think some of the concepts that she believes are being wrongly understood and practiced by modern horary astrologers. Ema first wrote this book in her native, Slovenian language (published 2015) and then translated it to reach a wider audience.

Author Petros Eleftheriadis presents over fifty valid charts taken from his client files which demonstrate, in clear steps, how to reach an answer. He stresses the importance of starting with the correct question; for instance, he doesn't accept 'Should I?' questions, saying 'Astrology charts cannot possibly show something that will NEVER materialize, something that will never become reality, so they cannot show how your life would be, had you made another decision.' So rather than asking whether you will win the lottery if you buy a ticket, the correct action would be to buy the ticket then ask if you will win. Ideal for students and professionals with some knowledge of horary astrology.
