It is hoped, how ever, that the attention which is thus attracted to it will serve to increase the interest of the Church in an institution which, in a large sense, is its own. The history of the House may naturally be divided into two periods, the first including the nineteen years at Circleville, Ohio, from 1834 to 1853, and the second the forty-one years which have followed the removal to Dayton in the latter year.
