Sin embargo, un aspecto clave dentro de las empresas es mantener satisfecho y motivado a los clientes internos o empleados con el fin de que puedan llevar un mejor servicio al cliente y tengan una estrecha relación con la empresa. Existen varios modelos, herramientas y estudios de caso relacionados a la evaluación y el manejo del capital humano en las organizaciones, pero en muchas casos no se toman en cuenta dichas evaluaciones para tomar acciones a emprender en relación a la motivación del personal. Además, la mayoría de empresas no toman en cuenta la expectativa del empleado dentro de dichas evaluaciones, puesto que las realizan supervisores o la empresa en general en base a sus procedimientos y políticas. Dentro de este trabajo se propone una herramienta de diagnóstico y evaluación de los distintos factores que pueden afectar al ambiente laboral, y por ende a la motivación y satisfacción del empleado. Dentro de la herramienta, con base en un cuestionario, se toma en cuenta tanto la percepción como la expectativa de los empleados de acuerdo a ciertos factores recabados en la revisión bibliográfica. Los datos obtenidos se pueden analizar estadísticamente, mediante un análisis de las puntuaciones y GAP entre las expectativas y percepciones, con el fin de identificar áreas de oportunidad donde la empresa puede tomar acciones para mejorar el ambiente laboral. La herramienta se implementó dentro del Programa de Certificación Internacional BMGI-ITESM, de donde se obtuvieron los datos de la opinión de los empleados y con base en ellos se pudieron identificar distintas acciones a tomar con el fin de brindar herramientas a los empleados para mejorar su motivación y satisfacción."--descripción del autor.
