After reading this book, your testimony will be like King Asa of old: "LORD, it is nothing for You to help" (2 Chronicles 14:11). You will not only enjoy the reading, as it was written plainly and simply, and filled with real life situations, which with the touch of HIS HELPING HANDS from above turned to testimonies of triumphs. You will also get inspired to look up to God for your own situation to change; as the Bible says: "they look to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed" (Psalm 34:5). It is your time and turn to receive help! Pastor John Moyo Ope Ekundayo was born in Ido-Ekiti, Nigeria in 1961. He graduated Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria in 1985. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book will transform you through its moving stories about reaching into the world of an Alzheimers patient, about helping someone die a more peaceful death, and about inspiring a child with a special need to sing and dance. These compassionate stories captivate the human spirit and may bring a tear to your eye. Jennifers appearance at the entrance to the kitchen would bring instant delight to moms eyes and a huge beautiful smile to her face. It was the highlight of her week. Jennifer has a way of bringing joy, clarity and awareness back by drawing from the memories she discovers, tirelessly, patiently and with heartfelt kindness and then sharing them again and again and again. I also loved her sessions since mom was such a happy camper by the time she finished! Kathleen Sweeney Jennys therapy touched the lives of each member of our family. She taught my special needs daughter essential developmental skills, helped my father remember some dear memories that were lost, comforted my aging mother and sang at the funerals of all three. Her gift of music brought tears of joy and comfort to all of us. Valerie Jones Jennifers music therapy reached my mom deep down in her soul. We thought we were giving mom a gift, but it turned out to be a gift to all of us! Michelle Buchanan

Book Touching Stories of My Life in Journey to Christian Holiness and Hands on Patient Care in a Weeping Healthcare

Download or read book Touching Stories of My Life in Journey to Christian Holiness and Hands on Patient Care in a Weeping Healthcare written by Ramsis F. Ghaly FACS, MD and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2019-08-26 with total page 988 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is the twelfth book of the series “Christianity and the Human Brain.” It integrates the neuroscience and the Bible, the Holy Book of our Lord Jesus. My love for our Lord, Jesus Christ, abides with my lifetime passion for neurosurgery and medicine, my continual obsession of spiritual connectivity of the Holy Spirit to the human brain that indeed separates mankind from all other living creation. It has been my belief that the human brain does not limit itself to the physical skull but rather extends in a nonphysical form to the outside spiritual world, even while living on earth. In other words, a big part of the human brain is actually outside the skull and the body. As I perform brain surgeries for three decades, I realize my theory is so true. The majestic human brain can’t be just the 1,500 grams of jelled matter inside the skull. The human journey, therefore, is transforming the human brain to become a brain of a man of God and the hand of man to a hand of a man of God. The spiritual human brain never dies, only the flesh. It is the center of my calling and unrelenting meditations while roaming in the heartfelt spirit lacking the physical proof that science demand of me. My life is dedicated to my Lord Jesus, patients, and residents. As a physician, I have reached the top in America, I am a professor of both neurological surgery and anesthesiology, and I am well-published in famous medical journals. As an academic teacher, I trained for more than thirty-four years, graduating thousands of trainee. But all is nothing as I strive for the Christian holiness and fullness. In a weeping healthcare with many patients’ falling victims, I included actual patients’ miracles, testimonials, and sincere quotes as a testament to the Almighty and the dire need for faith and integral goodhearted medicine. This book is full of many vibrant stories that I love to share. It is timely since I consider my generation soon will be viewed obsolete to the future generations, and what will remain are the books I authored. The book is a text of wealth covering broad and diverse topics of my life’s journey in 134 chapters and organized over 14 sections. So many chapters are written about my special love for Lord Jesus Christ and His children. In poems, deep reflections, and spiritual release of mind, I wrote extensively. In fact, I shut my senses and impersonated the human brains of the men of God and the children of the Most High in their prominent biblical stories. A special section is dedicated to the mothers, newborns, and little children. While my soul is grieving, a section is designated on the ongoing Christian persecution, especially the genocide of Christians in my country Egypt, the ancient region of the Middle East, and the oldest historic continent of Africa. Furthermore, I wrote some of my dreams and thoughts that I couldn’t otherwise convey for one reason and another, such as neuroscience in aerospace and some of the timely, touching subjects like drug overdose, human trafficking, and healthcare crises. Few chapters included are about my personal views and introducing spirituality into the recent turmoil in politics. Friends, human life starts with love and ends with eternal love for our Savior. It is never enough to share our love, write about love, and talk about actual love stories of heavenly roses, joy, Christmas, healing touch, miracles, and our calling for his purpose. This is what my twelfth book is all about.

Book No More Mediocre Me

Download or read book No More Mediocre Me written by John E. Michel and published by Morgan James Publishing. This book was released on 2013-01-01 with total page 314 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: If you were to account for your life at this moment—are you living up to your own potential? Does your present state of affairs give you reason to be disappointed or discouraged? Is your job unsatisfying...your relationships far from what they could be...your spiritual life a mere shadow of what it once was? If you answered “yes” to one or more of these questions, then there is a very good chance you--like scores of other Americans--have been lulled into accepting a life that is simply "good enough." This is what I term a Mediocre Me Mindset--a confining way of thinking about your role in the world that convinces you to settle for the perceived safety of the status quo rather than push outside your comfort zone to try and make tomorrow a little better than you found it today. In Mediocre Me, you will find a simple, yet profoundly powerful approach to rethinking the way you view your role in the world. It’s a proven means of breaking free from the grasp of mediocrity so you can lead a life of true purpose, meaning, and significance. And perhaps the best part of all...it’s not a new idea! The concepts in Mediocre Me are actually anchored in an over two thousand year old legend. One that reminds us we are at our individual and collective best not when we are standing still, unwitting prisoners of the status quo, but rather, when we are unafraid to reject apathy and embrace action by leading the positive change we want to see occur in our surroundings. Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote, “America is another name for opportunity.” At a time in our nation’s history when we seem more divided than united, more fearful than hopeful, there can be no more fence-sitting. It’s time to begin writing a different, more empowering personal leadership story of your own. One that will energize you to do what you can, when you can, where you can, to be a force for good in your part of the world when doing so is needed now more than ever.

Book excerpt: An empowering guide that unites the ancient healing power of touch therapy—from acupressure to reflexology—with modern science to help relieve the number one cause of disease today: stress—and to soothe anxiety, boost immunity, and alleviate pain. Human beings are wired for touch. Touch is critical to our physical and mental health. And for centuries, cultures around the globe have employed touch as a powerful force for healing. And yet America is an increasingly touch-deprived, high-stress culture, and we are paying for it with our wellbeing. Now, in The Touch Remedy, leading touch therapy expert Michelle Ebbin, who appears regularly on The Dr. Oz Show and has been featured on The Doctors, The View, and Live with Kelly & Michael, demonstrates how the ancient wisdom of touch can truly change your life. A fresh, contemporary approach to natural health, which draws on a unique combination of ancient wisdom and cutting edge research, The Touch Remedy is a collection of proven touch therapy solutions to calm and heal every member of the family, from babies to grandparents to pets. Demystifying time-tested touch therapy techniques such as Acupressure, Reflexology, Cranial Sacral Therapy, among others, Ebbin shares her invaluable insight and provides clear, step-by-step remedies, accompanied by beautiful full-color photos, to relieve a range of physical and emotional stressors, from back pain and headache to anxiety. Her solutions are quick, taking only two-to-three minutes each, and easy, requiring only three steps, and most of the remedies can be done anytime, anywhere, even on the go. In addition, Ebbin shows how touch therapy offers powerful strategies to improve intimacy in relationships, bond with your children, and improve communication through touch.
