Book Hebrew Israelites Biblical Feast Days

Download or read book Hebrew Israelites Biblical Feast Days written by Unknown Hebrew and published by Unknown Hebrew. This book was released on 2019-07-16 with total page 44 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What are the Biblical Feast days, and how we are to celebrate them? We have been commanded to keep the Feast days forever. We read in Leviticus 23:2 ELOHIM speaking to Moses; it says, “2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of YAHUAH, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.” Did you notice that YAHUAH says, “2...my feast....” This is key; we must understand this; these Feasts are His; we are instructed to keep them in a particular way for a reason. Leviticus 23:4 reads, “4 These are the feasts of YAHUAH, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.” Read Leviticus 23:44, which states, “44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of YAHUAH.” We see, once again, these are YAHUAH feasts. These Feasts have to do with Seasons; why is that important? 1st Chronicles 23:31 states, “31 And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto YAHUAH in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before YAHUAH.” Read 2nd Chronicles 2:4, which tells us, “4 Behold, I build an house to the name of YAHUAH my ELOHIM, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of YAHUAH our ELOHIM. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel." These Feasts given by YAHUAH to the Israelites are prophetic Feast of events that would take place in the future, and some cases have already taken place. We can go even further back in the Scriptures to the book of Exodus 23:14-17, where ELOHIM tells us, “14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) 16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. 17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before YAHUAH ELOHIM.” ELOHIM is telling us; we shall do this. Note that ELOHIM’s Feast can be found in the Old and the New Testaments; the Messiah and His disciples kept them. Matthew 26:17 states, “17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to YAHUSHUA, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?" YAHUSHUA is telling His disciples to go and find a place that He can eat a Passover with them. Paul connected YAHUSHUA with the sacrifice (the sacrifice of the Messiah) with the Passover. Read 1st Corinthians 5:7, which says, “7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Mashiach our passover is sacrificed for us.” We have just given a peek at what the Scriptures are saying about the importance of the Feast. It is equally important to know how we are to celebrate. This excellent book explains the what and the how aspects of the Feasts days that YAHUAH gave the Israelites. The book will explain how YAHUSHUA fulfilled the first 3 Feast and the 4th one was fulfilled on Pentecost - to the very day and hour! We are awaiting the Fall Feast. Download or read book Urban Apologetics written by Eric Mason and published by Zondervan. This book was released on 2021-04-06 with total page 299 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Urban Apologetics examines the legitimate issues that Black communities have with Western Christianity and shows how the gospel of Jesus Christ—rather than popular, socioreligious alternatives—restores our identity. African Americans have long confronted the challenge of dignity destruction caused by white supremacy. While many have found meaning and restoration of dignity in the black church, others have found it in ethnocentric socioreligious groups and philosophies. These ideologies have grown and developed deep traction in the black community and beyond. Revisionist history, conspiracy theories, and misinformation about Jesus and Christianity are the order of the day. Many young African Americans are disinterested in Christianity and others are leaving the church in search of what these false religious ideas appear to offer, a spirituality more indigenous to their history and ethnicity. Edited by Dr. Eric Mason and featuring a top-notch lineup of contributors, Urban Apologetics is the first book focused entirely on cults, religious groups, and ethnocentric ideologies prevalent in the black community. The book is divided into three main parts: Discussions on the unique context for urban apologetics so that you can better understand the cultural arguments against Christianity among the Black community. Detailed information on cults, religious groups, and ethnic identity groups that many urban evangelists encounter—such as the Nation of Islam, Kemetic spirituality, African mysticism, Hebrew Israelites, Black nationalism, and atheism. Specific tools for urban apologetics and community outreach. Ultimately, Urban Apologetics applies the gospel to black identity to show that Jesus is the only one who can restore it. This is an essential resource to equip those doing the work of ministry and apology in urban communities with the best available information.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although the roots of Christianity run deep into Hebrew soil, many Christians remain regrettably uninformed about the rich Jewish heritage of the church. Our Father Abraham delineates the vital link between Judaism and Christianity, exemplified by the common ancestry of the two faiths traceable back to Abraham. Marvin Wilson calls Christians to reexamine their Semitic heritage to regain a more authentically biblical understanding of what they believe and practice. Wilson, a trusted voice among both Jews and Christians, speaks to both past and present, first developing a historical perspective on the Jewish origins of the church and then discussing how the church can become more attuned to the Hebraic mindset of Scripture. Drawing from his own extensive experience, he also offers valuable practical guidance for salutary interaction between Christians and Jews. Discussion questions at the end of each chapter make this book especially suitable for use in groups—Christian, Jewish, or interfaith—as readers strive to make sense of their own faith in connection with the other. The second edition of Our Father Abraham features a new preface, an expanded bibliography of recent relevant works, and two new chapters: one that discusses Jewish-Christian relations after the Holocaust and another that reflects on Wilson’s own fifty-plus-year career as an evangelical Christian deeply committed to interfaith dialogue. As Christians and Jews feel a growing need for mutual support in an increasingly secular Western world, Wilson’s widely acclaimed book will offer encouragement and wise guidance toward this worthy end.
