Book Assessing the Impact of Future Operations on Trainer Aircraft Requirements

Download or read book Assessing the Impact of Future Operations on Trainer Aircraft Requirements written by John A. Ausink and published by Minnesota Historical Society. This book was released on 2005 with total page 118 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This monograph examines how the skills needed to perform future military missions might affect the capabilities required of new pilot training systems. In the next few years, the Air Force must decide to replace or extend the lives of two of its trainer aircraft. This monograph addresses which skills should be taught in undergraduate flying training, which are so different that they cannot be taught in current training aircraft, and what impact these issues have on decisions to replace or extend the lives of the aircraft.

Book Instructional Methodology and Experimental Design for Evaluating Audio video Support to Undergraduate Pilot Training

Download or read book Instructional Methodology and Experimental Design for Evaluating Audio video Support to Undergraduate Pilot Training written by and published by . This book was released on 1968 with total page 100 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This report presents a detailed description of the methods by which airborne video recording will be utilized in the training of Air Force pilots, and presents plans for an assessment of its effectiveness. Audio/video equipment configurations and limitations are discussed as they apply to training operations in the T-37 and T-38 aircraft, and training methodology is described which has been formulated to permit the integration of video recording and teaching techniques into the Air Force undergraduate pilot training program. Plans for an eight-month experimental evaluation of the effects of these techniques are detailed, including schedules, operating practices, student selection procedures, instructor training plans, data gathering processes and materials, and analysis guidelines. Book Strengthening U S Air Force Human Capital Management

Download or read book Strengthening U S Air Force Human Capital Management written by National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine and published by National Academies Press. This book was released on 2021-03-02 with total page 289 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The USAir Force human capital management (HCM) system is not easily defined or mapped. It affects virtually every part of the Air Force because workforce policies, procedures, and processes impact all offices and organizations that include Airmen and responsibilities and relationships change regularly. To ensure the readiness of Airmen to fulfill the mission of the Air Force, strategic approaches are developed and issued through guidance and actions of the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Manpower, Personnel and Services and the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs. Strengthening US Air Force Human Capital Management assesses and strengthens the various U.S. Air Force initiatives and programs working to improve person-job match and human capital management in coordinated support of optimal mission capability. This report considers the opportunities and challenges associated with related interests and needs across the USAF HCM system as a whole, and makes recommendations to inform improvements to USAF personnel selection and classification and other critical system components across career trajectories. Strengthening US Air Force Human Capital Management offers the Air Force a strategic approach, across a connected HCM system, to develop 21st century human capital capabilities essential for the success of 21st century Airmen.
