These promises can indeed be a source of encouragement for believers if understood correctly and meditated upon with faith. Unfortunately, many well-meaning Christians tend to pluck these verses out of their context to use as spiritual tonic regardless of their actual context and meaning. The result is a superstitious abuse of some of the most beautiful verses of the Bible so that they provide little more than temporary emotional uplifts. When used in this way, like little cups of coffee, they may be delightful for a moment but leave one spiritually dehydrated as soon as the effect wears off. This book is a humble attempt to promote a deeper understanding of some of the key promises in the Bible. Though most of the famous promises are listed in the book, not every verse is expounded. In this way, we are given a unique approach to appreciating the apostle Peter's declaration that God has given us "exceeding great and precious promises" by which we may become "partakers of the divine nature" of the Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet 1:4). May the God of Promise, the Saviour promised, and His Spirit endowed makes use of this feeble effort for the edification of His beloved people in these perilous days.

No right! Speak/pray aloud the solution, the life promise. Bless yourself, bless people, bless situations. You have a choice. We either curse ourselves and others or we bless ourselves and others. It's a choice! Choose you this day whom you will serve. Will it be the negative curses (death) or the positive blessings (life).
