She thought that by finally ending things with Dwayne, her life would work out in her favor, but some habits are harder to break even with her new boyfriend, Dre. She's hoping that everything can still work out for her, but things are about to be more complicated when she discovers the worst realization ever. In part two, everything going so right ends up going wrong, and Keisha tries her best to push through. She's not sure not if she wants to keep the baby, and she hopes that Dre will still be there for her after she shares a secret that will change the fate of their relationship. And Keisha is not the only one whose secret will come out. The news Dre shares with Keisha only adds fuel to the fire, and it's no telling if they'll make it. Will it still be Dre and Keisha forever? Jasmine finally got what she wanted, Dominic's last name and commitment. Things seem to be perfect, but something is missing, or maybe she achieved everything she wanted so fast that she doesn't know what to do with herself. Jasmine is only nineteen and never envisioned a life outside of being a wife and mother. Once upon a time, she wanted to give Domo a baby whenever he wanted, but having him put pressure on her, didn't make her want to rush into it just yet. It's never too late to change her mind about her life. But will Domo be understanding? And what's up with Kiara? Who was her secret boyfriend, and why did she feel like she had to hide his identity? People always thought she kept her life too private, and now she's starting to agree because it cost her the only thing that she loved besides her father.

She often made the common mistake many women made of taking some dirt, adding blood, sweat and tears to turn it to clay, molding it, fashioning it, polishing it up and putting it in the window for display. Then, they went out and found a more refined piece of pottery to match the beauty she had bestowed in them. It was a Catch-22 and she had come to the conclusion that she was meant to be alone... A woman of affairs.Affairs that left a new scent lingering on her skin each night. Until Vincent Garvey entered the picture. A tall, dark, sexy man who demanded her attention almost immediately. He saw her as his rib, the completion of himself and shows her another side of love. The tender, loving and caring side she thought she would never embrace again. Will Imani get past her love, lust, and trust issues and allow herself to receive the love the Vincent would like to mold her with and restore all that she has given away? Or will Vincent prove to be just another man who is playing games with her heart?

Book excerpt: Bad habits feel better than the pains of love and commitment to Imani. Maybe she's just not the relationship type. Imani Jones bit off more than she could chew. After meeting Vincent, she found herself caught up in her feelings, something that she never let happen. What's worse, the commitment-phobe in Imani led her to run for the hills when their one-night stand produced a pregnancy. After finding herself alone, again, Imani delves back into the bad habits that got her into all kinds of trouble in the first place. These habits could possible cause her to lose her daughter, Zion. Vincent Garvey forgives Imani but doesn't feel he can trust her after all of the drama and the secrets. But even after he tries to walk away, he can't deny that their bond is so strong that he can't imagine life without her. He wants to make things right and have a real chance at happiness with Imani, but her ex-husband, Keith, doesn't make it easy. Will Imani stop running from her past and Vincent's love long enough to enjoy a happily ever after? Will Vincent really get past her betrayal? Book excerpt: As Keisha's 21st birthday is approaching, she is overwhelmed with the events that transpired about three years ago that got her to where she is today. She reflects on the good, the bad, and ugly during her high school years. When she was seventeen years old, a junior in high school, she thought that her life was good for the most part. After her mother disappeared one night, and her dad was killed months later, she and her siblings were taken in and raised by their grandparents. Keisha always felt like a piece of life was missing after the absence of her parents. She never knew how to handle the hurt and pain they left her, but life still moved forward. For the most part, her grandmother raised her right; Keisha excels in school, is very responsible and a caregiver to her younger siblings. She liked to keep a low profile, keep people out of her business, and just wanted to focus on graduating on time with honors. However, there is a toxic part of her life that slows down her progress, and it's her boyfriend, Dwayne. Things are no longer the same with her friends, family, and school. And all of the positive changes she thought she was making, ended up not being as good as she hoped it would be. Amid all the drama, she finds herself in love with a childhood friend but discovers he has some toxic traits too. Keisha still thinks that her good-girl image can be saved, but those bad habits that she continues to ignore are doing more damage than she ever imagined.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The second volume of this three-volume work exegetes and comments on every occurrence of the Hebrew terms for righteousness in the Old Testament. It begins with a discussion of apperception and deductive method and concludes with an afterword on righteousness and ontology. The ontological argument affirms that God’s aseity is the foundation of righteousness in the Bible, and thus of all true righteousness. Righteousness is being true to God, and God is always true to himself, including in his self-existence. Other terms in the righteous word group, such as “righteous” and “justify,” are considered, along with the important word pair, “righteousness and justice,” in semantic domain studies in the first three chapters. Semantic domain studies show that terms like “upright,” “blameless,” and “good” are qualifiers of righteousness. Whatever the flavor or nuance of the terms for righteousness may be in different OT contexts, however, study shows that the underlying sense of righteousness is conformity to God’s Being and doing, and the same is true of the righteousness of God.
