This particular journey he has been warned that there is a possible ambush lying in wait for him, and he drops off three of his passengers with one miner staying with him to fight. But while they attempt to defend themselves, they catch a glimpse of the leader and Morgan can't believe his eyes -- it looks like the young Gold-Dust Dan! Yet unknownst to him, the same man was the one who left the warning at the earlier post. Meanwhile the second miner has proved to be false, his aim to capture Rev. Uriah Smoothly on behalf of the Mountain League; but when he also grabs Miss Moulton, the leader Captain Nick is livid. He drops her off in Slocum City, and she arrives just in time to see Gold-Dust Dan being accused of robbing Great Jones' safe by her father, and of being the leader of the League by a injured Morgan. Just what is going on?
