Book excerpt: This book is an answer to God's call to co-labor with Him. It is shared dialog between the author and God. The call was to share His thoughts on some of His beautiful flowers. When it was finished it wound up being the author's autobiographical journey to spiritual wholeness and healing. (When you do something with God it always winds up being more than what you expect.) It is written as a forty-day devotional, filled with truths and quotes from God to be applied to life for spiritual transformation. Each chapter is illustrated with the author's own paintings. It will change your perspective to the way God sees things and deepen your walk with Him. Hear His call to deepen your intimacy with Him and co-labor with Him to fulfill His plan and your destiny. Diana Welchel's heart has always been wholeness and healing for the broken Bride of Christ. After many years of praying prophetically for people in Healing Rooms, God has brought her out to a ministry of reconciliation. Her and her husband have a visual worship center in rural Illinois. In this season, her life is filled with the art and writing that God has called her to co-labor in with Him.

Download or read book Flowers from God s Garden written by Linda Vastardis and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2016-07-29 with total page 144 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I was born in Kingsport, Tennessee, but moved to northern Maryland as a small child. We lived on an 86 acre farm close to the Pennsylvania line. I was the tenth living child born in my family of six boys and six girls. We were raised very southern, and were raised going to church. I was always a very avid reader and so in my adult life I started reading and studying scripture and attended ministry school to continue learning. I realized that the greatest commandment was to love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind; and to love your neighbor as yourself. My mother always said I would someday write a book. I always doubted that, but started writing poems after my grandchildren were born. As the years passed, I wrote more and more to encourage others along their way. The difference was I was inspired to write, I would hear a few words, or a line of poetry then sit down and write what I heard. So the words became gifts of love and the poems came through me, not from me. The Holy Spirit is more real to me than my very flesh. I heard one day, call the book "Flowers from God's Garden," as the words are gifts you give others just as you send beautiful flowers, you can send beautiful words. So a heart was also placed on each page, as they flowed from the heart of God. Please feel free to send any of the words here to others as you see one of your friends or loved ones in these words of love, meant to inspire or just plain "bless their hearts."

Book It s All God the Flowers and the Fertilizer

Download or read book It s All God the Flowers and the Fertilizer written by Walter Starcke and published by eBookIt.com. This book was released on 2013-02 with total page 211 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In his best-selling classic, It's All God, modern mystic, Walter Starcke bridges the gap between our humanity and Divinity, as well as our traditional limited perspectives and our emerging Cosmic Consciousness. With the insight of a biblical scholar, Starcke clarifies the foundational Truths of our Judeo-Christian tradition, as he takes humanity's spiritual roots forward into the light of the new state of human consciousness that is emerging today. His masterful knowledge of Scriptures unlocks the truths laid out in both the Old and New Testament not found in other metapshyical books. Starcke calls us to no longer separate God from our humanity and the world. With this awareness we understand that the teachings of Jesus have not been fully realized until now as humanity begins the new cycle of the Age of the Gods. The awareness that It's All God is a requirement for living fully in this new Age of the Gods, which is this Golden Cycle we have just begun. Starcke wrote that, "we have been given all the pieces, each necessary, none missing, and if we want to complete the picture it is up to us to stop excluding those parts of ourselves and of our feelings that we have thought did not belong in the picture. If God is truly the only Power and Presence, then every piece, no matter how seemingly negative, insignificant, or inappropriate, has a purpose. Instead of discarding those aspects of ourselves that seem faulty or unworthy, when we stop judging them and see what they are telling us, we can find a right place for those energies and then we can complete the puzzle." In Part One his in-depth knowledge takes us from the traditional approach through the Gnostics, to clear in-sights on the teachings of Jesus and Paul. Uniquely Starcke relates these teachings to modern Quantum Physics and the evolution of Consciousness. Starcke is not only a Biblical scholar, but also well versed in the workings of consciousness, perceptions, and reality. Part One also includes Starcke's marvelous mystical insights and meditations. In Part Two of It's All God, Starcke gives us the "how to's" of practical mysticism to apply Divine Truth to our daily lives. No matter where a reader is on the path, he will find the steps to greater awareness and the clarification of the puzzle humanity has been working on for countless lifetimes. "We are all on the right path at the right time. The time is Now." These how to's are not superficial, they require that we come to understand our True Self and live the Truth of our Being. In part three Starcke takes us beyond our customary perspective into the realms of Higher Consciousness. These take us clearly into the new cycle, The Age of the Gods. The realization that It's All God is the key to spiritual healing, true transformative forgiveness, and the daily expression of our Divine humanity. It is a book whose time has come. We are now ready as never before to delve into it's insights and live it's Truths. It's All God is required reading for many ministerial programs and should now be require reading for us all to live fully during this new cycle far beyond 2012. Starcke was not only ahead of his time, but a master for all Ages with tools for the rest of our journey in awareness as we live fully as Divine Humans.

Book excerpt: The beloved debut novel about an affluent Indian family forever changed by one fateful day in 1969, from the author of The Ministry of Utmost Happiness NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • MAN BOOKER PRIZE WINNER Compared favorably to the works of Faulkner and Dickens, Arundhati Roy’s modern classic is equal parts powerful family saga, forbidden love story, and piercing political drama. The seven-year-old twins Estha and Rahel see their world shaken irrevocably by the arrival of their beautiful young cousin, Sophie. It is an event that will lead to an illicit liaison and tragedies accidental and intentional, exposing “big things [that] lurk unsaid” in a country drifting dangerously toward unrest. Lush, lyrical, and unnerving, The God of Small Things is an award-winning landmark that started for its author an esteemed career of fiction and political commentary that continues unabated.

Have you ever thought about the decisions God had to make each day as He went through the creation process? What did He have to do first? How did God decide where to put His creation, what He was going to include, what each thing would look like, what each thing would be named? For whom did God make His creation? What might it have been like if you had been there looking over God's shoulder and seeing the creation process unfold through His eyes? God Plants a Garden takes a fresh look at the creation story and gives you the opportunity to imagine journeying with God through the creation process each day, exploring some possible answers to these questions and to appreciate all that God must have had to do as He created His garden—and perhaps even discover a different kind of love story along the way.

Book The Flower of God

Download or read book The Flower of God written by Herbert Ausubel and published by . This book was released on 2011 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Flower of God tells the story of the author¿s paternal ancestral family from the time of the Temple of Solomon to the present: their migration from ancient Israel to Babylon, to Persia, to Anatolia, to Europe and finally to the United States. Dr. Herbert Ausubel¿s saga of his family history is a captivating story of the Jewish experience, at once universal and unique. It is Everyman¿s tale, and the family¿s struggles are immediately recognized by anyone who knows something of the immigrant¿s journey, whatever the ethnicity. It is easy to empathize with the characters because Ausubel captures their humanity, and their difficult search for a hard-won life of dignity, purpose and acceptance. This book is a testament to the unbelievable courage of the Jewish people and the indomitable human spirit. William Faulkner¿s marvelous Nobel Prize acceptance speech provides the perfect summary of their struggle: ¿We will not merely endure, we will prevail.¿

Emember that true holiness is accompanied by pains and tribulations from within and without, by attacks of visible and invisible enemies, by trials of body and mind, by desolations and prolonged aridities; "and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution" (2 Tim. iii. i2)--that is to say, all sorts of trials from demons, from men, and from our rebellious flesh. Be generous, and remember that you ought to walk in the footsteps of your Redeemer. We must not serve God for the sake of His consolations, but because He is worthy of being served. God usually deprives His servants, for a time, of all consolation, that they may learn to serve Him through pure love, and become truly faithful servants. He deprives them of spiritual delights, even on the most solemn occasions, to test their faith and fidelity. Sursum corda, then; let us lift up our hearts and generously serve our great God and Our Lord Jesus in faith and pure love. Amen. My trials are great! However, " although God should kill me, I will trust in Him." (Job xiii. i5.) What ought a poor shipwrecked person do when in the midst of furious billows and on the point of being engulfed? I have no other resource left but to turn my eyes to the Lord. I find myself threatened by new combats.... Storms succeed each other, darkness increases, fears do not vanish, demons harass me, men slander me, combats within, fears without, darkness, coldness, tepidity, desolation. What can one do in the midst of so many dangers? Ah! death is more desirable than life. Yes, if such is the will of God, may the door of a blessed eternity open to me! I know not which way to turn; however, I have faith and confidence that God will accomplish His work in a wonderful...
