Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God's truth is always found in His word. God's Truths versus Man's Lies is a book of scriptural validation and verification. It is impossible to know God's truth without knowing His word. It's like a puzzle. If you only have two or three pieces to a 200-piece puzzle, can you truly know what the puzzle looks like? Of course not. Well, God's truth about various topics is the same way. We must know all of His word or scriptural puzzle pieces about a subject, before He wants us to apply our faith to His word. That's why we are commanded to live by every word of God - Matthew 4:4. Having all the pieces presents the honesty to God's truth. Partial knowledge does not exact epignosis, which is the Greek word for the full and complete knowledge. That is why if we abide in His word, we shall know the truth, and the truth shall make us free - John 8:31-32. So, my friends, without the truth, all you have is the lie.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The 18th century was a wealth of knowledge, exploration and rapidly growing technology and expanding record-keeping made possible by advances in the printing press. In its determination to preserve the century of revolution, Gale initiated a revolution of its own: digitization of epic proportions to preserve these invaluable works in the largest archive of its kind. Now for the first time these high-quality digital copies of original 18th century manuscripts are available in print, making them highly accessible to libraries, undergraduate students, and independent scholars. The Age of Enlightenment profoundly enriched religious and philosophical understanding and continues to influence present-day thinking. Works collected here include masterpieces by David Hume, Immanuel Kant, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau, as well as religious sermons and moral debates on the issues of the day, such as the slave trade. The Age of Reason saw conflict between Protestantism and Catholicism transformed into one between faith and logic -- a debate that continues in the twenty-first century. ++++ The below data was compiled from various identification fields in the bibliographic record of this title. Book Jesus the Truth Vs Satan the Liar

Download or read book Jesus the Truth Vs Satan the Liar written by Honolulu Cops for Christ and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2020-12-11 with total page 158 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the Gospels, Jesus called Satan the Father of Lies. From the beginning of Mankind until the present, Satan has been lying to mankind in order to destroy us and keep us from eternal life with God. Our first ancestors fell victim to a lie of Lucifer, and because of their fall, all humanity fell under the influence of the devil. Jesus came to earth to break Satan’s power over us. Jesus referred to Himself as the Light of the World and as the Truth. He wants to deliver humanity out of the spiritual darkness and deception in which Satan has mankind trapped. A spiritual battle rages between Jesus and Satan for the souls of men. The weapons of Satan are his numerous lies. The weapon of Jesus is the truth of His Word. He said that the truths He taught were a solid and unshakable foundation in a world of shifting and sinking sand. In Jesus the Truth vs. Satan the Liar, this cop for Christ exposes many of the dark lies of Satan that are spread within America’s higher education system. They are exposed by the light of biblical truth, giving students the knowledge they need to reject the lies and all who spread them. 84 84

Book excerpt: A fallen world is full of reasons to lose heart. From the large-scale tragedies of war, famine, and natural disasters, to the more personal tragedies of broken relationships and broken dreams, it can be difficult to avoid discouragement--even for the believer. And yet, Scripture calls us to a life of hope, based not on wishful thinking or avoiding our problems but based on who God is, what he has done, and what he is still doing. In this short, giftable book, pastor Jason Meyer shows you that though the reasons for discouragement seem strong, the reasons we have to take heart and hold on to hope are stronger yet. Through biblical truth and personal stories, Meyer encourages the weary and anxious believer by shining light on the nature of reality, the nature of God, and the intersection of the two in our daily, rubber-meets-the-road lives. The result is a book that lifts our spirits in a world that too often seeks to drag us down.

Book The Truth about the Lie

Download or read book The Truth about the Lie written by Gale Newman and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2009-06 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Gale Newman was born and raised in Turlock, California. He attended U.C. Berkeley on an athletic scholarship. After graduation, he attended Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. From that school, he received a Masters of Divinity degree and a few years later, a Doctor of Ministry. He has served churches in Oregon, Indiana and California. While serving those churches, he instituted home Bible studies, believing them to be essential for Chrisitan growth. During those years, he noticed a need for more material that could be used in those settings. This study is an attempt to meet that need. Dr. Newman has three sons, Eric, Andy, and Brian who live in different communities around America. The Truth About The Lie is a Bible study designed to promote Christian growth in individuals through personal study or in group home Bible studies. According to Jesus, Satan authored "The Lie" (John 8:44). Jesus, who is "The Truth", came to confront "The Lie" and its effects upon the world. He offered "a way of escape" (1 Cor. 10:13) and through belief in "The Truth", Salvation (1 Tim. 2). The apostles Peter, John and Paul all refer to the conflict between "The Truth" and "The Lie" using these same terms. This book takes many of those passages and guides the student into an understanding of them. As this occurs. the Holy Spirit will challenge the Christian to live "The Truth" in the same way Jesus did.
