Salvation from sin (Christianity) contradicts the belief that there is no sin to be saved from but simply pain that can be escaped through enlightenment (Buddhism). Jesus Christ is the incarnate, Son of God (Christianity), contradicts the teaching that he is just a prophet (Islam) or that he was a false prophet (Judaism). In light of these contradictions alone, all religions can't be true. They could all be false, but they can't all be true. Are any of them true? This is the most important question anyone can ask. The Rev. Lauri Kerr grew up on a dairy farm in North Central Pennsylvania. Received a BA in Psychology from Mansfield University and a Master's in Organizational Leadership from Mansfield University. Attended and graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary, she was ordained as an Episcopal Priest on December 12, 2001. She severed several small parishes during her 17 years of ordained ministry. She currently serves the three parishes of GLEAM (Greater Lycoming Episcopal Area Ministry). Rev. Kerr has been with her wife Mary since 2002. She enjoys golf and bowling. Her main hobbies are collecting Elvis memorabilia and being a movie buff. Rev. Kerr has traveled to Israel and Myanmar. These experiences of overseas travel and life experience of having Turner syndrome and being a lesbian have led her to be a fierce advocate for inclusivity within the Episcopal Church.
