Book God s Promise and the Future of Israel

Download or read book God s Promise and the Future of Israel written by Don Finto and published by Baker Books. This book was released on 2006-01-13 with total page 222 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God's promise and timing have intersected in our day. Witness the Jewish return to Israel, the rise of Messianic Jewish believers, and the shifting of the church's power center from the West to Asia, Africa, and Latin America, the fastest-growing segments of the Body of Christ in our day. This has brought about many questions as the church comes to grips with these sweeping changes. What does Scripture say about the future of the nation of Israel? What is right and wrong about the Messianic Jewish movement? Where do the Arab nations fit in to God's plan? How does this all affect the church, and how can the church fulfill its role in this end-time scenario? Don Finto explores these questions and shows how to navigate the new landscape in this illuminating book.

Book The Importance of the Jew in God s Overall Plan

Download or read book The Importance of the Jew in God s Overall Plan written by Jack A. Albert and published by . This book was released on 2023-10-10 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The title of my book basically says what my book is about: Most Gentile believers in Jesus Christ don't know how important the Jews have been, and are, in God's plan for His creation. Many don't realize that the one they have put their faith in (Jesus) is a Jew. As a Gentile believer in Jesus/Yeshua the Christ/Messiah of God's chosen people Israel (the Jews), my study of God's written Word over many years has caused me to see how important the Jew is in God's plan for His creation. The majority of my brothers and sisters in Christ do not understand how important the Jew is in God's "eternal purpose." I started to come to this understanding in the early 1960's. It is my prayer that as many peoples as possible come to see how much God loves His chosen people, the Jews.

Book The Jewish Background of Christianity in God s Plan of Salvation

Download or read book The Jewish Background of Christianity in God s Plan of Salvation written by Marianne Ivany D. Min. and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2019-04-01 with total page 168 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Modern Catholics may be dissuaded from reading or studying the Old Testament simply because the stories seem unusual or implausible and the language, foreign and confusing. Still, we must not neglect the inestimable value of God’s self-disclosure and the wealth of wisdom within the Hebrew scriptures, nor the Jewish prayers and traditions contained within, as many of them lie at the core of our faith and worship. In a simple yet enlightening approach to scripture interpretation, Marianne Ivany provides a simplified overview of the major narratives that comprise the story of salvation history while offering appreciation for the role of Israel as God’s chosen nation. Throughout her study, Dr. Ivany invites spiritual seekers to explore the Old Testament, comprehend its continuum within the message of the New Testament, and reflect on its implications for understanding the life and teachings of Christ. By engaging with the text, Catholics will gain a new outlook on the depth of scripture as God’s personal revelation to humanity, enriched by the timelessness and wisdom of His word. In this Catholic study, believers will gain a new appreciation for the Hebrew scriptures of Jesus and the way they serve as the background for the Catholic faith.

Book Salvation is from the Jews John 4 22

Download or read book Salvation is from the Jews John 4 22 written by Aaron Milavec and published by Liturgical Press. This book was released on 2007 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Growing up in an ethnic suburb in Cleveland, Aaron Milavec was an impressionable adolescent whose religious and cultural influences made it natural for him to pity, blame, and despise Jews. All of that began to change in 1955 when Mr. Martin, a Jewish merchant, hired Milavec as a stock boy. Milavec's initial anxieties over working for a Jew surprisingly gave way to profound personal admiration. This, in turn, plunged Milavec into a troubling theological dilemma: How could God consign Mr. Martin to eternal hellfire due to his ancestral role in the death of Jesus when it was clear that Mr. Martin would not harm me, a Christian, even in small ways? This book is not for the faint-hearted. Most Christians imagine that the poison of anti-Judaism has been largely eliminated. In contrast, Milavec reveals how this poison has gone underground--disfiguring not only the role of Israel in God's plan of salvation but also horribly twisting the faith, the forgiveness, and the salvation that Christians find through Jesus Christ. This painful realization serves as the necessary first step for our healing. At each step of the way, Milavec's sure hand builds bridges of mutual understanding that enable both Christians and Jews to cross the chasm of distrust and distortion that has infected both church and synagogue over the centuries. In the end, Milavec securely brings his readers to that place where Rabbinic Judaism and Christianity can again be admired as sister religions intimately united to one other in God's drama of salvation.

Book When a Jew Rules the World

Download or read book When a Jew Rules the World written by Joel Richardson and published by . This book was released on 2015 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Throughout history, the largely gentile Christian Church has utterly failed to heed Paul's warnings, falling headlong into both ignorance and arrogance toward unbelieving Israel almost from the start. The horrific results of this have been seen in the long and bloody history of anti-Semitism against the Jewish people, in the profound blindness of the Church concerning God's unfolding prophetic plans, in a widespread identity crisis, and in its an inability to faithfully proclaim the true and full Gospel message. The Church must acknowledge and repent of its long, bloody history and prepare for the days ahead. Discusses the good fruit and growing number of salvations among Jews, particularly in Israel. An appeal to support evangelism among Jews in Israel, as well as prayer and support for that nation in anticipation of the Lord's complete redemption of His people"--

This simple yet so very important purpose is explained in simple, easy to understand language. The unbreakable, everlasting covenants of God to his people in Genesis must be understood to understand the Bible as a whole. The first covenant is Genesis 1:14 providing day, night, signs and seasons used by farmers, fishermen, military, meteorologist, everyone who wishes to plan their daily activities. Genesis covers the formation of the universe and everything in it. The birth of the Arab and Jewish nations and God´s covenants with them throug Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac and Jacob, ending with Joseph and the Twelve Tribes of Israel. Why Cain´s offering was rejected is explained and God´s provision for the redemption of mankind. The Old Testament leaders from Moses to Jesus Christ. The Old testament foretells the New Testament and the New is the fulfillment of the Old. Neither is complete without the other. God always had a remnant he preserved to fulfill his covenants with man. This remnant filled the gap from the Bible to now. They survived the various religions and persecutions to fulfill their destiny. Included is a brief history of America´s beginning. Adults need to review our history and the youth need to see God at work in out history. Especially now that God is slowly being removed from our history, God help us!

Book God s Plan for all Mankind

Download or read book God s Plan for all Mankind written by Louis Brent Roberts and published by Gatekeeper Press. This book was released on 2022-02-03 with total page 36 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is hoped that you have had the chance to read eBooks 1 and 2. We can see that our Heavenly Father has a plan for us to follow that will in time and with our desire will lead us back to Him. Now, the question is. What is the plan and where do we find it? It is to be found in the Gospel, “The Good News of God” as taught in the scriptures and by the Apostles and Prophets of God both ancient and modern. In this eBook we will find some answers as to How God is Known, what kind of being God is. We will now begin to unlock some of the unknowns and mysteries that we all want and need to learn. The importance of our lifetime on Earth cannot be overstated. This Is the time given to each of us to work out our own Salvation. Each one of us as individuals must show what we want to become. What that means is we can use our agency to decide just what type of life we want to live throughout all eternity. Do we want to believe and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ or follow the lifestyle of the adversary,” Satan”? Ancient apostles have said, do not procrastinate the day of your repentance. Today is the day to prepare to meet God. All are born into this life with the spirit or the light of Christ in them. It follows then that if we but follow and listen to that spirit it will lead us back to Christ. All are loved by Him, and it is His work and glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of all humanity. It is the object and purpose of this series of eBooks to add to our storehouse of knowledge of the life of Jesus Christ. We are told that a man can be saved no faster than he gains knowledge of Jesus Christ, His commandments and lives them. When the Lord speaks of being saved, He means to be worthy of returning to and living with Him. The natural man within us all, is an enemy of God and wants to move us away from this light of Christ. Satan is real and his influence on us is strong. We must seek out true knowledge from all who know truths and learn from them. God has a plan and He told and taught us about this plan in a pre-existent time before we were born on this earth. We used our eternal agency to decide if we wanted to believe and follow Him or not, in that pre-existent time. All who used that agency and chose to follow the plan were chosen to be born on this earth and receive a mortal body. Those who chose to not accept were denied a mortal body and were cast out. All those outcasts are now here on this earth without mortal bodies and are tempting us to deny Christ and live corrupt lives, we will learn more about all of this as we go along. The first eBook “The Pre-existence” (1st Estate) was to give us a better understanding of where we came from and the plan that has been established by God to allow us to be tested and move us ever closer to our goal of exaltation. In the second eBook, “Earth Life” (2nd Estate), we gained answers to the question of why we are here. We gained a much better understanding of this probationary time and just how important it is to our Salvation. We must not waste this time but learn to feast on the words of Christ. The Lord has not left us alone in obtaining a greater understanding and knowledge of God’s Plan for all His children. The ancient and latter-day Apostles and Prophets have given us direction of what we should do. This third eBook titled “The Gospel or The Good News of God” will teach us more of what we need to do. It is quite simple. We need to “Read, Ponder and Pray,” about all that we are learning and ask God if these things are true. He will manifest the truth of all things to each of us in His own time and in His own way through the power of the Holy Ghost. We will learn more of this Holy Ghost in future eBooks. After learning of these truths and commandments we must live them so we will be worthy to return to and live with Him. Read on now a enjoy.

Book Has the Church Replaced Israel

Download or read book Has the Church Replaced Israel written by Michael J. Vlach and published by B&H Publishing Group. This book was released on 2010 with total page 234 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The relationship between Israel and the church continues to be a controversial topic led by this question: Does the church replace, supersede, or fulfill the nation of Israel in God's plan, or will Israel be saved and restored with a unique identity and role? In Has the Church Replaced Israel?, author Michael J. Vlach evaluates the doctrine of replacement theology (also known as supersessionism) down through history but ultimately argues in favor of the nonsupersessionist position. Thoroughly vetting the most important hermeneutical and theological issues related to the Israel/church relationship, Vlach explains why, "there are compelling scriptural reasons in both testaments to believe in a future salvation and restoration of the nation Israel."
