Download or read book God s Gradual Self Revelation to Mankind written by Michael J. Lorenzo and published by Dog Ear Publishing. This book was released on 2009-04 with total page 238 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ...the more we are in the light, doing good works of mercy-corporal or spiritual-the more we become more like Jesus. But we know that, already, right? Do we, now? Have we greeted Jesus in prayer this morning when we awoke; asked Him how He felt throughout the day; acknowledged Him by saying "hello" to someone; have we thought, said, or did something kind for someone; did we thank Him for giving us another day to enjoy; have we ever thanked Him for creating us and sustaining us; have we ever looked in the mirror and said we see a miracle? Ah, if only there was more time in the day Perhaps we are rationalizing to the point of leading ourselves into darkness? What is it we fear that we have to live in darkness so much? Could it be the bright, shining, warm light at the end of the tunnel? For those of us who don't try to live in the light: You won't have to worry about being blinded or scorched by the bright, shining, warm light at the end of the tunnel Michael J. Lorenzo is an ordained permanent deacon, now inactive, in the Roman Catholic Christian Church. He was instructed by some of the foremost exegetes and theologians in the United States and around the world. He is currently writing a novel and a book of inspirational short stories. Michael now lives in NJ with his wife after spending two mind-expanding years in Brazil. He has one daughter who lives in upstate NY.

GOD REVEALED AS PERSONAL SPIRIT IN THE CONSTITUTION AND HISTORY OF MAN. We now proceed from the physical system to the spiritual, to ascertain what additional evidence that the absolute Being is the personal God may be found in the constitution and history of man. I. God Revealed As Personal Spirit In The Existence OF PERSONAL BEINGS. -- From the existence of personal beings we rightly infer that the absolute Being must be a rational and personal being, on the principle that the cause must be adequate to the effect. Man knows himself and his fellow-men as personal beings. In discussing man's capacity to know God it was shown that personality in its essence is supernatural. If the line dividing nature from the supernatural runs between finite beings and God, as many theologians assume, then man is shut' up in the physical or natural and excluded from any participation in the spiritual or supernatural, and from all knowledge of God or of any spiritual or supernatural reality. But theism does not admit any such rift between God and the universe, any such gulf which thought itself cannot pass over to find God. It is of the essence of theism that it declares the union and communion of God and man. The philosophical basis of this is the fact that the line of distinction between nature and the supernatural is the line of distinction between rational and free personal beings and the irrational and impersonal. Thus man is at once participant in nature and the supernatural and has in experience contents for the knowledge of both.1 He is the bond of union between the natural and the supernatural. In him the law of continuity reaches unbroken from the spiritual into the physical, and they are knit together in one all-comprehending...

Book The Book of Revelation a New Beginning

Download or read book The Book of Revelation a New Beginning written by Terry L Newbegin and published by BalboaPress. This book was released on 2011-03-23 with total page 715 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Revelation: A New Beginning contains the hidden secrets of Saint Johns Revelation, and as you know, it is one of the most debated and most difficult books of all the scriptures to read and understand because of the extreme symbolism tied to it. Man has always assumed the word of Gods prophets and their stories were indisputable just because of their eminence in interpreted them as being true. Man has forgotten the history of himself, Earth, God, the origin of the universe, and how the scriptures have been documented, interpreted, and strictly passed down by our ancestors and religious leaders. As symbolic as Revelation is it has nothing to do with the end days or even about a solitary Anti-Christ as we understand it nor is it about Jesus coming to save you. In truth, Saint Johns Revelation is your own guide showing you that you no longer need to look at yourself as a sinner because you have bared your cross, like Jesus, and now the time has come for you to ascend to a higher state of Mind. The book of Revelation: A New Beginning is a book that will help open the gates of your soul memories so you can become aware of your own divineness, and that you are a God too. My fellow Gods, what is coming to an end is the old ways of perceiving and understanding God. It is not that God is a mystery. It is you that is the mystery, and when fear is resolved within, you are then ready to open up to the hidden secrets behind the Book of Revelation that religions have kept as a secret for thousands of years, either on purpose or because of ignorance.
