Book excerpt: Single-valued neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy sets (SVNHFSs) have recently become a subject of great interest for researchers, and have been applied widely to multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) problems. In this paper, the singlevalued neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy geometric weighted Choquet integral Heronian mean operator, which is based on the Heronian mean and Choquet integral, is proposed, and some special cases and the corresponding properties of the operator are discussed. Moreover, based on the proposed operator, an MCDM approach for handling single-valued neutrosophic hesitant fuzzy information where the weights are unknown is investigated. Furthermore, an illustrative example to demonstrate the applicability of the proposed decision-making approach is provided, together with a sensitivity analysis and comparison analysis, which proves that its results are feasible and credible.

Book excerpt: For multiple attribute decision making, ranking and information aggregation problems are increasingly receiving attention. In a normal neutrosophic number, the ranking method does not satisfy the ranking principle. Moreover, the proposed operators do not take into account the correlation between any aggregation arguments. In order to overcome the deficiencies of the existing ranking method, based on the nonnegative normal neutrosophic number, this paper redefines the score function, the accuracy function, and partial operational laws. Considering the correlation between any aggregation arguments, the dual generalized nonnegative normal neutrosophic weighted Bonferroni mean operator and dual generalized nonnegative normal neutrosophic weighted geometric Bonferroni mean operator were investigated, and their properties are presented. Here, these two operators are applied to deal with a multiple attribute decision making problem. Example results show that the proposed method is effective and superior.

Book excerpt: Neutrosophic sets (NSs) are used to illustrate uncertain, inconsistent, and indeterminate information existing in real-world problems. Double-valued neutrosophic sets (DVNSs) are an alternate form of NSs, in which the indeterminacy has two distinct parts: indeterminacy leaning toward truth membership, and indeterminacy leaning toward falsity membership. The aim of this article is to propose novel Dice measures and generalized Dice measures for DVNSs, and to specify Dice measures and asymmetric measures (projection measures) as special cases of generalized Dice measures via specific parameter values. Finally, the proposed generalized Dice measures and generalized weighted Dice measures were applied to pattern recognition and medical diagnosis to show their effectiveness.
