At p. 134 it is stated that before 1661 the Collect for Easter Day was used through the whole of Easter week, while, in fact, Easter Tuesday had its own proper collect. The object of this work in part'is to attempt to disprove the charges of insufficiency and to show the redundancy of such interpolations. The nature of the interpolations in View has been already defined.
