Since 2000, Dr Gunay has been working as a Lecturer in Transport at the University of Ulster, where he teaches a number of subjects including Inventory Management and Warehousing, Transport Interfaces, and Transport Technology. He is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport. Dr Gunay is the author of many journal articles and conference papers, and has won a number of best paper awards and research grants.
