This book was released on 2019-02-06 with total page 220 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God established His feasts. Now you can learn all about them! The second book in the Messiah's Calendar series, "Messiah's Calendar Book 2: The Feasts of the Lord," introduces you to God's special appointed times. This book answers intriguing questions like: Which major events of Jesus' life align with God's special appointed times? How do God's Old Testament holy days act as prophetic symbols and "pictures" of future things to come? Why did believers continue to observe the feasts for decades after the resurrection of Jesus, according to the New Testament? Can one still celebrate God's appointed times today -- by grace through faith -- in a manner that truly magnifies and glorifies Jesus? Each chapter of this book is devoted to one of the seven appointed times of the Lord described in Leviticus 23, and contains educational charts, helpful graphics, beautiful illustrations and often-overlooked Biblical insights. Optional "observance" sections containing suggested prayers, scriptures, songs, recipes and children's crafts are provided at the conclusions of all chapters for those readers who feel God's leading to learn how to observe the feasts. God's seven appointed times are explored in depth, including their symbolism in prophesy and fulfillment in the New Testament and in the ministry of Jesus. Easy explanations of any Greek or Hebrew terms are provided, along with simple phonetic pronunciations (prior knowledge of Hebrew or Greek is not necessary). Listed scriptures are fully "typed out" for convenience in classroom study. As with all books in the Messiah's Alphabet and Messiah's Calendar series, the language is simple, direct, and sensitive to readers of both Jewish and non-Jewish backgrounds. Excellent for either group or individual study. Suitable for Messianic congregations and churches alike. This book is the perfect follow-up companion text for Messiah's Calendar Book 1, which introduces the reader to God's Biblical timekeeping system.

Book The Feasts of the Lord

Download or read book The Feasts of the Lord written by Irving Risch and published by Irving Risch. This book was released on with total page 44 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Today is April 12th, 2017, and this year we have a New Moon on April 26th. New moons are always special on the Jewish calendar because of the feasts of God as celebrated in scripture. Even though I am a Christian and do not celebrate Jewish feast days, there are things we can learn from them as believers in Christ. And along with the feasts of God, we have the Jewish Calendar that applies to us Christians as well. We will see this as we go on. @page { margin: 0.79in } h1 { margin-bottom: 0.08in } h1.western { font-family: "Liberation Sans", sans-serif; font-size: 18pt } h1.cjk { font-family: "Noto Sans CJK SC Regular"; font-size: 18pt } h1.ctl { font-family: "FreeSans"; font-size: 18pt } p { margin-bottom: 0.1in; line-height: 120% } a:link { so-language: zxx } As with many things in scripture, we find double meanings from these feast days, and the events for Christians are all laid out for us in the Jewish Calendar. I want you to look at these lessons as a teaching and not a preaching. I want to cover a lot of ground here so sit back and be prepared to learn some things about the Feast Days of the Lord and the Calendar he gave to his earthly people Israel. Introduction I have given this writing the title “The Feasts of the Lord,” or “God's Prophetic Calendar.” Both the title and subtitle apply to this teaching. The idea of a Calendar originated with God, but it was for man’s benefit. Second Peter 3:8 tells us, “But beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.” The calendar we are about to examine shows God’s plan for the human race. It begins with the death of Christ, and it’s followed by our need for sanctification. Christ’s resurrection, the beginning of the Church, the Rapture of the Church, the Tribulation that follows the rapture. The regathering and regeneration of Israel, and final the return of the Messiah’s return to reign on earth during the Millennium Kingdom. God’s prophetic calendar contained all of these events in sequence and located in one chapter of the Bible, Leviticus chapter twenty-three.

Book Fulfilling the Feasts of Israel

Download or read book Fulfilling the Feasts of Israel written by Velda Stearns and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2013-03-29 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The seven Jewish feasts, which God gave to ancient Israel, help unlock the entire Bible. They were not feasts as we think of them but were structured around the sacrificial altar to worship God. The Jewish people have celebrated these feasts, in one form or another, for 3,500 years, totally unaware they are rehearsing future events that point to the Messiah. It is unfortunate that Christians rarely celebrate the feasts or understand their significance. The feasts reveal Gods divine seven-thousand-year plan of salvation for mankind. Each feast is celebrated on the same day each year, to remind of a special time in the history of Israel. They reveal a record of atonement in the Old Testament and point to redemption in the New Testament. The seven feasts paint a beautiful picture of Gods plan of salvation through Christ, His Son. They point to the soon return of our Savior, Jesus Christ, and the glorious future reign of the Messiah. Christians refer to Him as Jesus Christ, while messianic believers call Him Yeshua. Understanding the significance of the feasts encourages believers to share the good news of salvation with the lost. I pray you will be greatly blessed as you read Fulfilling the Feasts of Israel.
