There are only two families in the earth: Those who have made Jesus Lord of their lives, and those who have not. We are delivered from darkness and our identification is with the all powerful God and His Son, our brother. Every thought, word, and action gives allegiance to one or the other of the two families. We need to be careful to identify with the Righteousness of the Lord of Life. So, are you identifying with the fallen Adam in sin or with the resurrected righteousness through Jesus? Who is the High Priest over your house? From Your Lips to God's Ear answers with specific scriptures. An example of how you might pray a prayer of salvation is outlined. "What does 'Prayer' mean in God's Word?" is addressed. If we are going to pray to God, it would be wise for us to know what that really means. Tradition may or may not have it right. A look at some scholarly understanding of what the original words meant and the flavor of what the words were intended to convey is presented. The Authorized King James version of the verses in which the words are used is offered for the reader's convenience.
