All too often, we are so busy that we don’t take the time to focus on the blessings all around us. Some of the blessings in this book were sent to me by adults, and others were sent by kids. For some reason, kids have an easier time recognizing blessings. One boy sent in the following blessing: “I am thankful a boy in my class spoke up and stopped someone from bullying me.” I was so blessed to know that there were students at the school who were willing to stand up for others. Bullying is such a problem in our schools, and it is so important that children and adults stand up against it.
