Book Free Your Mind and Your Life Will Follow

Download or read book Free Your Mind and Your Life Will Follow written by Lisa L. Wilcoxon and published by BalboaPress. This book was released on 2011-06-16 with total page 65 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The search for true happiness and our own authenticity is one of our deepest and most natural inclinations, yet the majority of us spend our entire lives never having found the answer to these questions: Who am I? Why am I here? What is my purpose? These questions seem so simple, yet they are extraordinarily difficult to answer. But what does living authentically really mean? If we could wake up tomorrow and be our authentic selves, who would we be? What type of things would we do? In what ways would our lives change? What would it take to make you happy with your life? It doesnt matter if youre rich or poor, young or old, or all things in between. The truth is that the majority of us are dissatisfied with our current states of living. This is because we are not being authentic with ourselves. It is time for us to discover how our minds work; learn how we create our reality; enlarge our vision; find our true selves. We struggle daily seeking out ways in which to make our lives reflect who we feel we are, while striving to survive, but who are we really? Who are we as individuals with individual consciousness? As a member of a society that shares a collective consciousness, who are we? Its time to seek out the new youthe true you.

Book Breaking the Chains of Poverty

Download or read book Breaking the Chains of Poverty written by Demetrius Sandridge and published by Page Publishing Inc. This book was released on 2020-11-09 with total page 270 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ronald L. Godbee, Sr. calls it “the book that will liberate you and activate you to live from the position that Christ established for you on the cross.” While many think that the difference between poverty and wealth is defined by the car one drives, the size of the house one lives in and the amount of money in one’s bank account, the truth of the matter is those things are results—or lack thereof—not definitions. In this candid debut book, Breaking the Chains of Poverty: The Secret to Having a Wealthy, Healthy and Wholesome Life, author Demetrius Sandridge helps readers recognize those moments God affords us the opportunity to prosper and come up higher in every aspect of our lives—and how we can maximize those opportunities. Chronicling his story from rags to riches, and riches back to rags, Sandridge ignites a sense of excitement and urgency—which catapults readers out of a poverty mindset into a millionaire mentality with every turn of the page. In this book, you will be challenged to: Transform your mindset to that of a millionaire Learn to use money as a tool, not a motivator of dreams and goals Apply simplistic, practical approaches to go from your current reality to dream fulfillment How to apply action to your faith, and faith to your actions Encourage others to adopt your new way of thinking And more! "Wow, very powerful my friend...Congratulations” -Chris C. Klebba “Read this book, and I guarantee wisdom will come alive in you!” -Pastor Eddie Williams “This book is a fundamental treatise that empowers the reader to understand that though life, at times, may seem intractable and untenable, it can also be liberating and instructive.” -Bishop Edgar L. Vann, II “This book taps into millions of people's minds, souls and spirits like none other!” -Mary Jackson

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: (Book). Turn On Your Mind: Four Decades of Great Psychedelic Rock is a history and critical examination of rock's most inventive genre. Whether or not psychedelic drugs played a role (and as many musicians say they've used them as not), psychedelic rock has consistently charted brave new worlds that exist only in the space between the headphones. The history books tell us the music's high point was the Haight-Ashbury scene of 1967, but the genre didn't start in San Francisco, and its evolution didn't end with the Summer of Love. A line can be drawn from the hypnotic drones of the Velvet Underground to the disorienting swirl of My Bloody Valentine; from the artful experiments of the Beatles' Revolver to the flowing, otherworldly samples of rappers P.M. Dawn; from the dementia of the 13th Floor Elevators to the grungy lunacy of the Flaming Lips; and from the sounds and sights at Ken Kesey's '60s Acid Tests to those at present-day raves. Turn On Your Mind is an attempt to connect the dots from the very first groups who turned on, tuned in, and dropped out, to such new-millennial practitioners as Wilco, the Elephant 6 bands, Moby, the Super Furry Animals, and the so-called "stoner-rock" and "ork-pop" scenes.

Download or read book Presentations 1st Body Mind and Life Conference 26 28 June 2013 Men Tsee Khang written by Men-tsee-khang Body, Mind and Life Department and published by Mentseekhang Documentation & Publication. This book was released on 2016-06-21 with total page 266 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: PREFACE During the last fifty years of Men-Tsee-Khang since its establishment, a number of different debates were held related to medicine and astroscience and of course, a lot of new knowledge, new experience and new approach are gained in the process of the debates. In 2013, holding the International Conference on Body, Mind and Life was the first time of its kind in the history of Men-Tsee-Khang. Thus, we called the conference as the First Conference on Body Mind and Life. The conference is directly or indirectly connected to improve the general altruistic manners and mental healthcare services and also related to social stability and environmental security. Thus, we can say that this is the starting point for future healthcare works. In this conference, we invited various experts from different perspectives such as Bon scholar from the field of ancient Tibetan indigenous Astro-science of Bon Tradition on identification of body, mind and life, experts from Tibetan Buddhist perspective, healthcare professionals from Tibetan medical and astro-science, psychologists from modern science and has engaged in dialogue and exchanging views in the conference for three days. While we overview the convivial conference through its events with an evaluation, due to the different cultural background and different intellectual understanding of the subject by the respective experts, there was not yet a unified identification of body, mind and life in general and the mind in particular. However, there were some general agreements in the conference; 1) that the wellness of the body is dependent on the well being of mental health, 2) that there is a deep relationship between the body and mind, 3) that there is a need to put importance on the mental health in the present world, that the psychological explanation is the most extensive and profound in Tibetan Buddhism and 4) finally it was unanimously concluded that the cultural exchange on issues like the way of the counseling on the discovery of favourable and unfavourable conditions for better mental health, practices and realization in the individual as well as social daily life are of great significance. Above all, all the conference participants had a great audience with His Holiness the Dalai Lama and presented the purpose and program of the conference to His Holiness, wherein His Holiness blessed us with an insightful advice on importance of the cultural exchange and research studies. Likewise, those presentations, panel discussions and question & answer for the three day conference were manually transcribed, translated and edited and made available in both Tibetan and English by publishing in books. I earnestly look forward that these works would extensively benefit the readers in gaining more insight from these different cultures in general and better understanding of the identification, causes, conditions and interrelationship of the body, mind and life, the causes and conditions of their disorder and their remedies in particular. Body, Mind and Life Department, Men-Tsee-Khang, 11 April 2014
