Starting at King Edgar, they take us down through William the Conquerour, The Drowning of Henery the I his Children, Edward the Third, the Seege of Roune (1418-19), Proud where the Spencers, the Murthering of Edward the Fourth his Sonnes, The Rose of Englande, Sir John Butler, Bosworth Feilde, Ladye Bessiye, Sir Andrew Bartton (1511), the Wininge of Cales (1596), The Spanish Ladies Love, to A Prophecye of James I.'s time, 1620 A.D., written some twenty years before the MS. was copied.
